Do you think it is worth joining AAA for the discounts?

I already had my membership to AAA when I booked my trip, but to me the cost of the membership is only $50 or $55 and it is well worth it. The discount price of the tickets in our area any way is better than any of the other on line ticket brokers. You get your traveller checks for free, and the discount for our stay in December is $66.00 per night at the Poly, so the membership pays for itself rather quickly.

I'm currently a florida resident, an annual pass holder, and a AAA member.

Is there anyway to combine the discounts and if not which one typically yields the best discount on hotels? I'm looking to stay in the value resorts this summer and if possible add the dining plan.
