Aaa ??

Last weekend I called DTC and asked if I wanted to switch my room only with AAA rate to a package with dining was I better off doing it through Disney and then bringing my # to AAA or just going to AAA to begin with. My biggest problem---no rooms left at the CR, but mine, so I didn't want to lose my reservation. DTC said switch to package through them and guest services and then bring it to AAA. At AAA, they were told sorry, I lost the discount and AAA said they could do nothing about it. So, I called Disney and they worked it out for me. YAH!!!

Here's my question, I wanted to make sure my reservation was all correct now, but I can't pull it up on the Disney website. Is this normal once you book with a TA? I've never done this through one before.

You can not access your WDW ressie if booked through AAA I personally think it stinks. I even called a few times and asked different CR's and they tell me they can't access anything done through AAA I just hate it as I just want to know if WDW has my package booked or not. This is my first time booking through anybody other WDW directly.

You could call your TA and ask her to give you a copy of the reservation confirmation from Disney- that way you'll have the details of your package in writing.

I agree, call and get it in writing.

We went to CO a few years ago and I didn't have anything in writing. The hotel messed up our reservation and we ended up paying for an extra night. Get everything in writing!

When booking through AAA or any TA, they own the res, even though they are booking it for you.

They can look up things for you at CRO if you booked through AAA. I requested that my AAA agent request a certain building but had a feeling that she didn't. I called CRO and they put in the request for me. Then yesterday I called to make a payment on our package. The first CM I got said she couldn't do it because I booked through AAA. So I hung up and tried again. I got a CM that said it was no problem. He applied the amount I was paying to me ressie. I even found out how much commision AAA was making (about $200).
