Does AAA membership give you any discounts at the food places or restaurants in the parks or City Walk??

yep......AAA gives 10% at restaurants (parks AND CW) and gift shops.....ALWAYS ask....what's the worst they can say....no.

Absolutely...carry it everywhere.....AND don't forget to use it if you purchase a "ride photo"........we had it in our bag, but our bag was in the locker....so, no discount on our Hulk pic....oh well....bought it anyway!

Yes you can get a discount using AAA at Mythos and any other restaurant in the parks and CityWalk except Emerils.

We didn't realize we could get the discount until our 2nd day there. Even then we sometimes forgot when getting ice cream, etc. We never even thought of it at the Hard Rock Cafe. Live and learn.

APH gives you more discount on room, food and merchandise....(20-30%)....AAA only gives you 10-20%.....prefer to use the AP discount!

I would use my APH card at every purchase, I kept trying to use it when I would buy a beer at the carts throughout the park, but no luck with that

for resturants and shops AAA gives only a 10% discount.
PAP allows 20% discount for those above items.

for rooms, the discounts vary. at this point for october, AAA has the better of the 2 for room discounts over PAP. last year the PAP rate dropped a few weeks before my trip and was a better discount than AAA at that point.

i take my refillable mug with me to the parks. then the charge is about 1.25 a refill. use the ap for a discount off of that.

i have taken the same mug since 1996 to UO.
it is still valid.

we don't drink soda, so we haven't purchased the refillable mug, but you can use it at both parks and buy them almost anywhere.....I saw them all over the place. Every place that sells food almost always carries them. Someone who knows more will come along shortly......

you can buy the refillable mug at any of the stands or counter service places.
i suggest you buy the ones with a handle. you can then loop it on a strap or belt instead of carrying it all the time. the sponge bob mugs are cute but no handle. it would be a pain having to carry it around all day at the park.

refills are $1.25 or were last year when i was there. you can also receive the ap discount on top of that.

i bought my dueling dragons mug in the 90's. it is still valid and can be used at both parks.
i chose that style as it has the straw and cap with it besides having a handle.
