We are planning on staying at GF the last week of November, right after Thanksgiving, and would love to get a discount if possible. We have always gotten a discount when booking through DU for this time, even last year with the DDP package, we ended up with a discount. We would like to do that again, but are wondering if we should see if AAA already has a discount for that time period or just go ahead and book with DU and cross our fingers. Last year the discount to the general public that DU got us was more off than what the AAA discount that was quoted to us. I would rather work with DU because thay have always been SOOOO great with ADRs and all the rest. Any advice?

I guess if you don't mind having 2 ressies at once, and $200 deposits each, you may want to try that. Just make sure you keep track of your "window" when the money is due so you don't forfeit your deposit. I used a AAA rate for our upcoming trip in June and that was after I had already booked through WDTC. AAA saved us over $200 with this particular trip.

Last week I phoned CRO and got a AAA room discount at WL for Nov. 27-Dec. 4. You don't have to go through AAA to get the discount. You can call CRO or DU can do it for the AAA rate. I will try to change it to an AP discount or anything that is better later on. You must give your AAA #.
