AAA vs AP/PAP Discounts

With the disolution of the Disney Club, I'm looking into options for getting the best discounts for Disney.

I have the Disney Visa, but haven't seen a lot of discounts yet.

Does anyone know which is better between AAA and AP/PAP? Which has the better discount season and discount rate? Are there any threads with comparisons?

AAA is usually the same as Disney Club - 10% to 20%. If you are a member, you can go into AAA's website and get discounted rates.

With AAA, do you get the discounts for both regular and plus membership or only plus? Also, do you call CRO for reservations or must they be made through AAA?

I think you get the same discount with regular AAA and premium. Yes, you can call Disney directly for reservations and they can pull up the AAA discounts. They will ask for you member number when you call.

I called CRO myself and had the AAA discount applied to my reservation. For the week we are going, it's only 10% but still better than nothing!

AP discounts, when available, are (almost)always substantially better than AAA/DC discounts.

My travel agent (Your Magical Journeys) made my reservations and used my AAA discount number to get my discount.
