we are planning a trip to Disneyland in march.. Have been looking into booking a trip with AAA(Resort magic package) at the Paradise Pier.. Has anyone used this package?? Some one told me you get a coupon for breakfast in the park..(AAA never said a word about a coupon. This is our first trip in a long time at Disneyland we have been going to Disney World the past three years.. What is the Paradise Pier like?? We have a 17 & 18 year old teenagers.. I see in the AAA vacation booklet it says"ask about upgrading to Concierge Level". How dose that work?? How much more?? Thanks for your help..
We purchased the AAA DL ticket only package this week. Apparently the 2004 packages have changed quite a bit... AAA is no longer offering multiple fastpasses or the breakfast in the park coupons in the packages. In the confirmation letter I recieved yesterday the package contents are: 5 day park hopper pass, ESPN Zone game card, priority seating for DCA shows, and free parking. The 2004 price is $134/pp. Also of note, it mentioned seperate shipping charge to be added later when the tickets are sent, but I called immediately and spoke with AAA who said that they no longer charge for shipping. If you have any other questions, PM me.
I got at pamphlet from a AAA agent today and the Mulitiple FastPass seems to be available IF you stay at one of the Disneyland Hotels on site. From what I read that is the only way to get one.
We are also looking at making our first trip with a 4 and 6 year old in May and trying to decide wether to stay on site or off. Weighing all the options currently.
Hi Chumpson,
I would stay on site with two little ones. You'll probably need a quick trip back to the room for a rest during the day (especially the 4-yr. old). I am not that familiar with AAA packages but you might want to see if you can buy an annual pass for just one of the adults in your party. That would give you an AP rate at the Disneyland Resorts and the discount would probably make up for the cost of the pass. Worth looking into...have a great time!
