AAA travel agents

I just want to know. i sent an email to a AAA travel agent and got back a quote. The quote seemed higher than the quote I got from Disney. I thought AAA was suppost to help with a discount on packages. Does anyone have a AAA travel agent that actually gives discounts.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the cancellation penalities if you book room only through AAA vs. Disney, or is there one? What if you add dining plan?

I was told that the cancellation policy was the same when I booked a few days ago. at least for a package.

Would someone mind sending me a AAA contact as well? I made a reservation in Feb. through AAA but the discount over WDW was only a few bucks. I thought it should be more.

I still need to make my deposit by Tuesday but the agent hasn't returned my calls for the past 3 days. So regardless, I need to find someone to take my deposit. But I'd also like to make sure I am getting the best deal since the agent seemed clueless when I asked her about a AAA discount I saw online.

This is our first trip to Disney.

Some of the AAA agencies charge a cancellation fee on top of Disney's fee. It appears to be office by office best on reading the boards.

When there is a promotion going on it is either the promo or the AAA rate. Sometimes there is little to no difference.
