AAA ruined my vacation before it even started!

Another Mainer here- glad this worked out for you! Next time use Dreams! We are going to WDW 9-30 thru 10-7 (maybe 10-8 if I get my way!) When are you going?

I have nothing but very good experiences with AAA. I would recommend them but for Disney I think most of us can book our own trips. I used AAA for my first Disney trip but after that I did it myself. Everytime I have used AAA they have done a great job.

I have used AAA, but not for Disney.

I will say that with MOST of the Travel Agents I deal with, I know more about travel then they do. So I am VERY specific with them and don't let them dictate ANYTHING to me. It seems to work. (I have used them for tours you can't buy directly!)

(hypothetical case since the real case was happily resolved)

So they omitted just your youngest child

What if...

After a small amount of cool (unheated as opposed to kewl) argument, if that fails you buy the package as booked for the rest of the family, fibbing that the youngest child won't be going, then bring him/her along on departure day and pay a la carte just for him/her?

(If airplane tickets were booked through the travel agency, keep the ticket for the youngest and instead fib that s/he will be staying with Orlando relatives.)

In Manchester NH (MHT) listen to 96.5 WQLL "Oldies are ql (kewl)"

Mermaid02~ We are going at the same time. We will be there Oct. 2-10.
Where are you staying?

I have not gotten a good impression of AAA 2 times now. ONce I called about hotels and recently I called about a cruise. It took a while to get a response and when I did she didnt seem to care either way if I booked it or not. She didnt follow up after she gave me a quote or anything. I just dont think they are the best for Disney trips.

"BC concierge booked 7 nights lagoon view five of us (2 adults, 3 kids 15, 12, 9) and we are only paying 3,280 (room and tiks) they WDTC quoted me a price for POR for the same days at 2,142.00 so I'm sure you are being cheated by AAA."

It looks like their package included air and ground transportation, so that would account for the difference.

Glad it all worked out!

I am so glad that things worked out for you!:D Have a wonderful trip to Disney World!!:D :D :D
