AAA rates not out yet for 2011?

I just booked a room reservation for President's week at Pop and when I asked about AAA discount the CM told me that they weren't out yet for next year. Is this true?

I called AAA directly in August and got my rate.

Ok. That makes sense. I thought I read somewhere that people were getting AAA discount and didn't realize they were doing it through AAA since I rarely use their travel agents.

AAA discounts have been out since August. If you are booking a "room only" reservation, you can do that through Disney, or through ANY travel agent, not just AAA. If you were told otherwise, that was an error.

If you are booking a package, you do have to go through AAA to get the discount.

Thanks Mary. I called Disney again and was once again told that AAA rates were not out. I was booking for a room only reservation not a package.
Maybe I'm cursed....
I will probably just book through AAA.

I was told by a CM last month that they were not out. Someone here on the DIS said that that was incorrect and for me to call back. I did and guess what?...The CM's info. was wrong. I was able to adjust my room-only reservation and apply the AAA discount.

Keep trying! I added AAA discount to my 2011 room only ressie in August.

Just called and asked for the AAA rate. The CM could not find the code so got she asked guest services. Anyway.....we are staying at POP for a week starting March 12 and got a 10 percent discount....was hoping for a little more...guess it is a good start.
