AAA Rates - Just Room, or Packages too?

Just got off the phone with CRO. I asked the CM for AAA rates for CSR along with MYW tix, and dining plan. She quickly mumbled something about booking things separately for AAA. The price she ended up quoting me was higher than the WDW website (she added trip insurance without telling me). She was VERY insistant that I at least put a courtesy hold on this package.

Can you get a AAA discount on packages booked through CRO, or does the AAA discount only apply to rooms?

I called CRO this weekend to get a quote using AAA and was informed they give AAA discount for rooms only, I'd have to call AAA to book a "discounted" package, whatever that is. I'm not sure if the entire package is discounted or just the room portion of the package, I had not followed through to see.

CRO can only book a room-only AAA discount. If you want a package - discounted room + tix and dining, you have to book through AAA.

We booked an AAA package and have been very happy with the service, the savings and the extra perks we'll get.
