Hi! My mother-in-law wants to send us to WDW for Christmas 2007, we would travel before Christmas but this would be our gift. Anyway, she has AAA and wants to book through there. She is not traveling with us. Anyone done this before? Is this allowed? Otherwise, we will just book ourselves. TIA

I would think that you might have to show proof of AAA membership at check-in. It's been 9 years since we last used AAA to book our Disney vacas so I'm not sure what Disney's current policy is.

I believe the AAA member has to be staying in your room when you make a reservation through them. I've also heard that if you call Disney to make your AAA reservation that they will ask you for your membership #.
