I recently joined AAA. I have a wonderfully nice agent. He helped me book a package recently for an April trip. Well, a few days later, Disney came out with the free waterparks and more upgrade. He graciously switched it all around for me ect... Yesterday I finally got the invoice in the mail and it was for $400 LESS than the price he told me. Well, I was calling WDW last night anyways to make ADR's and I asked CRO if they could double check my ressies. They stated they CAN NOT access any information about my ressie because it was done through AAA. :sad2: Is that right, or was that person mistaken?

This is driving me nuts not knowing if WDW even has a ressie for me or not.
Is there any way to find out from WDW if I do actually have what I am paying for or not?

I did contact my AAA agent and he said he goofed and transposed the numbers and my quote was incorrect by that $400. He also told me I would not get any of documents until the 2nd week of April. Um, I am checking in on 04/22. I was just wanting my WDW guide and Diamond card and Parking pass now.

I guess. I am just not a trusting person and more of a control freak than I thought.

Does anybody know how to find out from WDW if I am booked? :goodvibes

Thanks for reading my babble.

Shouldn't you have gotten a confirmation notice/number from AAA? I know you can put WDW's conf #'s in on their site to check them, maybe you can also do that with AAA's #?

I was in the same boat as you last year. It took some work by the WDW agent, but what I did was make some ADR's. Eventually, either via the confirmation #, phone #, or resort dates, etc., the person making the ADR's was able to locate my reservation.

Another thought is to call Magical Express and set up the transportation. They might be able to see the information.

Keep in mind that you may be paying more with the "free upgrades", because you lose your AAA room discount. Not sure of your specifics, however.

I am pretty sure your confirmation number will not show up in the regular WDW reservation system yet.

Also, it is too early to get your "stuff" from AAA. As the TA said, expect it around 3 weeks before your trip.

If you are such a control freak, you could move/cancel reservation with AAA. Trip should be fully refundable up to 45 days before travel, although if you took trip insurance already (which you should not do until the 45 day wondow) you will possibly lose that. Plus, some people say their AAA agent charges a cancellation fee.

These are just my opinions and thoughts; I am no authority on the topic.

Normally if you go through a TA (such as AAA) you need to continue to go through them. They own the res since they made it.

I don't want to cancel through AAA. I will continue with them, I just am use to booking my own vacations and being able to see everything online.

I did continue to save with AAA. I did lose the cheaper room rate but went down to base rate with my tickets it ended up being $20 less than my original package :goodvibes

I booked a pkg. through AAA last week for July and got a confirmation in the mail afew days later with a Res# on it. I was able to call and make ADR with the # with no problem.

You do not need a confirmation # to make ADRs all you need to input is your phone number.
