AAA + Public Code???????

Has anyone who already had a package booked through AAA been able to have AAA apply the new Public Code to their existing reservation????

Wondering if this counts as "double dipping" or not.

She is very knowledgable about Disney and told me that if there is Public Code available she modify the reservation to incorporate the new pricing.

My AAA agent also told me that they usually have a version of these deals for AAA clients.

I just got off the phone w/ my AAA agent. I was able to add the code for the free ticket upgrade (YVA) for AAA members (including dining plan), but I lost my AAA room discount. Using the code, I can still get the other AAA benefits though (parking, character story, etc.)

I just hung up with Disney agent and she said it is either AAA package or Visa package. 6 nights 7 days with hopper and water park with AAA is 2286.65. Visa package for the same is 2423. 65. AAA much better deal!

I am waiting for my AAA agent to call me. She had no idea about Visa so I am not hopeful.

They need to use code YVA . It took my AAA agent 1 1/2 hours to get it right with CRO.

My TA called back and said the code I had given her was a VISA only code. She was not aware of a AAA code yet but she would keep looking and update us if anything comes out.

I think I will wait and see rather than call her back again.

Are you guys getting both the AAA discount and the ticket upgrade together? I just got off of the phone with my AAA agent to see if I could apply it to my package and she said I had to decide if I wanted either my AAA discount or the ticket upgrade. Our tickets are park hoppers , no water parks so I decided to stick with my AAA room discount since it was less than if I canceled my AAA discount and used the code upgrade.

I tried and it was one or the other. For us, AAA is better.
Now we've change to AP because even though we're only going 1 time, staying at a deluxe made AP better.

If I would do this new code package to get the hopper and water park, it would be the $2171.56 price, correct? (But this would normally be $2491.12).

So my price would go UP to use the code since I lose the AAA discount. Is that right? I realize I would get the park hopper and water park with the increase, but since I wasn't going to buy it to begin with, my price will go up?

I believe that is correct.

Park hopping for less than $100 may be worth it to you. It is definately a sweet perk even if you don't use the water parks.

I will find out more from my agent later today. However, I realized that I booked trip in 2005, so I got last years rate. I have only put down deposit. I wonder if new code is applied, would it be based on 2005 rates or 2006 rates?
