AAA Pkg, $7 extra for 25 Disney Dollars?!

I booked my package this morning. The agent called back and said that if I paid an extra $6.98 I could get the $25 Disney Dollars. What is up with that? Anyone else told this???????

That is odd. According to our local AAA website,

AAA Vacations is offering 25 Disney Dollars with any package for 3-nights or more, booked between Jan. 1 - 31, 2005, for travel most nights between May 5 - Dec. 19, 2005.

I would tell your agent that if your package qualifies according to the above statement, you should get the Disney Dollars without having to pay the $6.98. I wonder if they're trying to bump up the total or something so that the commission is higher...

If they refuse, I'd call another AAA agent. I would also talk to the agent's manager. That is ridiculous.

I was automatically given the $25 for booking more than 3 nights. I'd call back and tell her/him why you don't qualify automatically.

That is really weird my AAA agent said that I get 25 disney dollars free with booking through them. I never heard of them charging you for them. What is the point of paying for them. I would call another AAA office.

Maybe it is a special shipping fee to send the money to you at home and the fee was already calculated into the other's packages? Just a thought....
