I have a reservation on hold with a AAA agent as follows-

2 nights camping at Ft. Wilderness
4 Day Magic Your Way Base Tickets (3 adults, 2 children)

I have been told that this itinerary fully qualifies for AAA perks including-

Diamond discount card
Diamond parking
Enhanced Fastpass for all 4 days of the MYW base ticket (even though we only have 2 nights of lodging)

Does this sound right to everyone?? I was under the impression that you had to book a certain level of resort to qualify for the enhanced fastpass.

My current plan is to pay for the campsite and let it sit. Basically, I'll be getting the AAA benefits for $80.

Any thoughts would be welcome.

Thanks!

How much does a 4 day adult base ticket from AAA cost? It looks like we will be spending $390 to order online from Disney. I would like to save any money on that if possible.

Nevermind, just found the price. Saves $5.

I just ran a search because I was pretty sure Enhance Fastpass was DLR only. I still think thats the case. Basically at DLR you can hold as many fastpasses as you want with this feature, but I don't think it has moved to WDW. (And I am not surprised that an AAA TA was clueless once again)

I booked our upcoming WDW trip through AAA and did not get an Enhanced Fastpass

I don't think Enhanced Fast Pass is included in ANY of the WDW packages through AAA. I have the 2006 AAA Disney catalog right here.

We are booked for 9 nights on a AAA package at a deluxe resort next month and we aren't getting any sort of special Fast Passes. We were there for 9 nights last October and didn't get any special Fast Passes then, either.

Our package included:
One luggage tag per person
AAA Story Time
Diamond Discount card
AAA parking pass (does NOT give you free parking, just allows you access to the AAA lot)
One voucher for one free meal at Planet Hollywood (one person gets a meal - not each person in the party)

I don't think what you would get is worth $80, but that's just me. :confused3

I get the catalog at the local AAA office. It has all of the different WDW resorts listed, the discounts, the different packages, etc. I keep it on hand just to refer back to.

Wow, I've talked to the AAA TA about this many times and I'm still being told I'll get enhanced fastpass at WDW. I've had a really hard time getting info on this feature. Can anyone else confirm that it's available only at Disneyland?

Try asking a different TA. Odds are good you will get a different response.

I just picked up my docs from AAA. There was nothing about enhanced fast pass. This is probably the third trip we have booked through them, never even heard of this.

We got the Diamond Card, luggage tags, diamond parking card, merchandise voucher for Planet Hollywood, food voucher for Planet Hollywood, and info on our res and the Storytelling. I think that was it.

No enhanced fast pass at WDW. Just because she is a TA doesn't mean she knows about Disney. Ask her if she is a grad of the College of Disney Knowledge.

wow you guys are harsh on the TA's. Yeah ask if she's a CODK graduate. I am a AAA TA and I would have known the right answer to that question but thats just becuase I know disney :rotfl:

We just got back yesterday from WDW and booked through AAA. There was no "Enhanced Fastpass" with our package. We got the parking (we didn't need it because we had no car), the meal voucher at Planet Hollywood (didn't use it), the discount for the Downtown Disney store (didn't use it), and the Storytelling tickets (loved that!).

You know I feel sorry for you. There are just too many AAA TA's out there who do NOT seem to know what they are doing when it comes to booking Disney. To be honest, the volume of "stupid" errors I have seen makes me afraid to just book anything via AAA.

I have kind of reached a conclusion on TAs. I use different one's for different things. I don't use one for Disney, since I can do that on my own and don't do packages. I have used Dreams to book just rooms.

I did book a Christmas Trip to Costa Rica recently. I spent a lot of time on travel websites before finding a TA who specializes in this area, has traveled there a lot and so on. I do the same thing for any other travel I want to book with a TA. Expecting one person to know everything is probably not a great plan.

(It's interesnting I once spoke to a TA who specialized in part of Europe. Bascially she makes more money now. She does charge higher fees, but she has great connections, knows her 'destinations' and is able to give her clients such great service that word of mouth has made her much more successful then when she worked for "XYX Travel Co")

dsnymoners, you may know the answer but many TA's don't. There have been many reports of people given misinformation from their TA. My asking if they are a CODK graduate they should know a little more about Disney.

Believe it or not there are agents that book Disney that have never been there.

The stuff they give isnt worth $80 but Im assuming you mean thats what you paid for your AAA membership? Should have also entitled you to the room discount and be able to also get Dining with the AAA room discount. Not to mention--you are now a AAA member, if you ever break down or something....
