Hi, I've read that it's a good idea to purchase a AAA parking pass before heading to the parks. On ebay they have black and white and color passes. Can someone tell me if it makes a difference which one you have and other things to look for before I purchase. Thanks.

Sorry but you are only supposed to use those parking passes if you actually are a AAA member and get it from AAA. I am sure the DIS doesn't condone buying them off of Ebay. Sorry.

It is stated on the parking pass that it is non-transferrable and not for sale..both things being done on eBay. Now, AAA has made changes to their parking passes...they show the dates the pass is good for. If you are asked to show appropriate ID to back up your AAA parking pass, you may very well have an issue.
The DIS does not allow for discussions that give ways around any official policy. I thought that eBay has stopped allowing this type sale but people must have found a way around it...as usual. It is a perk of doing business with AAA..not something that everyone is entitled to.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea. I thought it was a common practice and acceptable. Obviously I must not have read about it in these boards. I'll stick to advice from here from now on. Thanks

I've had the AAA parking pass before.
YOU ARE NOT missing out on much!

Personally I think the only park where you really get a "better " parking spot is AK.
AND you almost always have to be one of the first guests to arrive because those spots are not abundant and fill up fast.

I agree with Carrie1626, Ive had the pass before too and Its nothing to worry over. We didnt even use it, to be honest....

Never needed to use one, but I think you are not missing out on anything. I would not pay for something that is not transferable and should not be sold.:rolleyes1
