AAA Parking pass

Does anyone know if AAA still does the preferred parking? I'm not booking my trip through them, but was wondering how to get one of these parking passes???

Yes in the 2007 benefits it states an exclusive AAA diamond parking.

I didn't book anything through AAA I just bought my disney tickets through AAA and the parking pass came with them automatically.

I had them do a trip tik for me last year and I asked for one and they gave it to me.

It's not free and doesn't give a discount. It allows you to park in the Diamond parking, which is the closest to the gate. (Just past the handicapped parking).

I just saw one going on Ebay for $77- its not worth that much if you ask me though....

Diamond parking is great at Epcot and Studios, Ok and AK and not that good at Magic Kingdom. Show the parking people you pass and they will direct you.

AK:when parking follow the green? line around to the right until you get to the Diamond Parking

Epcot: follow the Brown? line to the left when you enter. Go towords the exit then turn right. Go all the way around until you are driving twords the Monorail station. Find a place behind the RV's.

Studios: I don't remember what color. You end up parking very near the Busses.

Magic Kingdom: Follow the sign (here's your sign ). You park near the Handicape area. You then have to walk under the bridge to get to where the trams unload.

I live in Delaware and we have used the parking passes for 2 of our 3 trips. ( did not know about them on our 1st trip) We never booked a trip with AAA,and still just walked in and asked for the parking passes. I was asked how many I needed. I said 3. ( sold 2 of them on ebay $50.00 ea) Used the money for Disney.

I don't know if i should feel bad about selling they for $50.00 or not. Well If I did not know they are FREE, knowing my DH , he would of bought one.

Going to Disney in March, I'll make sure to stop by my local AAA to see if I can get my pass!!!

that's interesting. I asked about the passes when I booked a recent trip and was told you had to buy the tickets, etc through them...We purchased season passes so get the free parking anyway, but next time I'm in the AAA store, I'll have to ask about the passes too...

Western NY AAA policy is they only give them if you book a trip at Disney or a Neighbor hotel. They used to give them with park ticket purchase. Thier brochure still states this. I am "discussing" this with them now. My understanding is the AAA Diamond Parking Pass polciy varies from AAA to AAA.

That being said, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, if your staying on property you don't really need a parking pass since you will most likely use WDW Trasprotation (yes I know you still may opt to drive) But if your off property you HAVE to drive so the AAA diamond parking is a perk. BTW we just bought 20, 5day PHP NX.
