for my 9 day stay, 7 nights on site (at Ft Wilderness), 2 nights off site (Bonnet Creek).

First time visit for family. I have heard that driving and Parking at the AAA areas is better than bus transport to Epcot, HS and AK (if anyone has experienced different, please let me know). But I was planning on using the boat transport for 2 days to the Magic Kingdom.

Can I save these 2 days worth of parking and use my AAA passes for free parking for these last 2 days (and in the AAA area?) ? I haven't gotten my package yet from AAA - but thought someone here may be able to give some good advice on this.

Thanks

AAA passes don't give you free parking, they just give you access to the AAA lot. If you're offsite, you will still need to pay for parking first.

AAA parking passes get you up a bit closer than non-pass parking. But you still have to pay to park if you aren't staying onsite. We have been hearing more and more reports of the parking passes being dated so you may or may not be able to use it when you aren't staying onsite.

As others have said, you will have to pay for parking on the two days you are off-site. We had the AAA parking pass in Aug. and it was dated. It was dated for the exact dates of our trip which we had booked through AAA. If you haven't booked through AAA it will depend on our local office as to whether they will give you one or not. Ours was in the book with all our other trip documents. Chances are you will only have the use of the pass for the dates you are on property. When we used ours in Aug. they were checking them pretty closely.

The passes are only dated if they are from a travel package booklet. AAA still gives out separate, pre-printed passes that have no date on them. When I went in June, I used AAA and booked a package and in my voucher book was a tear-out voucher that looks just like the individual Diamond passes, but it was in black & white and had my trip dates. My agent also gave me an individual pass that I used in August - full color, no dates, just like they've been the last few years.
