AAA Park Ticket Questions - Florida Resident

If a AAA member buys discounted Florida resident tickets to MK, can non-members use them? The nonmember is me but I am a Florida resident. The 3-day Florida resident deal through AAA saves $2 per ticket.

I suspect you trade in the voucher at central ticketing and they verify residency, correct?

Also, if I buy tickets online direct from Disney along with a hotel booking, will I have to visit central ticketing oro do they issue the tickets at the hotel? I'm wondering if the $2 saved might not be worth the hassle.

Thanks in advance for your help with this. And thanks for all the other guidance from the boards I've gotten thus far!

Disney does not care where tickets are sold or who buy them.

If you get a Resident ticket anywhere but at WDW all you will receive is a certificate or voucher which must be exchanged at a ticket or Guest Relations window, while showing Resident identification, to get a live ticket.

You cannot get a Resident ticket as part of a package, but if you do get a package you can upgrade to a Resident ticket.

You might want to look at the Everything About WDW Tickets locked sticky in this Forum. Especially the items bolded in the list below.

Thanks Cheshire Figment. I read through your sticky post then realized that since I'm not current on all the deals, I failed to mention I'm referring to the Wild 3 for $99.

If I buy from AAA the savings is $2 per ticket. Is the savings worth the hassle of exchanging voucher for ticket? Do I have to go to park to get tic or can hotel lobby issue when I check in at FW?

If I purchase Wild 3 from Disney online will they check residency at hotel check in or will I have to do at gate?
THanks!

The Front Desk and Lobby Concierges at the Resorts cannot access the Automated Ticketing System and cannot process any Resident Tickets. Whether it is a purchase, or an activation of a certificate/voucher, you will have to go to a Park ticket or Guest Relations window (including TTC, water parks or DTD).
