AAA packages & rates

I am in the process of booking a package for Aug 09 through AAA. Just to let everyone know AAA is still booking with old rates. They are approval to continue until Aug 16. So if anyone is thinking about planning a trip and still would like to get in under old prices do it fast.

I am a AAA travel agent, and for our club (Auto Club South), the rate increase will not affect our prices at all. Thanks for letting everyone know!!

Right but unless you pay the trip in full now, the trip is subject to rate increases until you do pay it in full.

Disney prices are ALWAYS subject to change until paid if full...it says so right on your reservation..whether you book with AAA or not. When I booked thru AAA my ressie always was FROM CRO. So unless there is a new way to book with AAA, I would still assume that the price could go up until paid in full. It's not that AAA is raising the prices...Disney is.

I never heard the price could increase unless paid in full. I thought once you give a deposit you were locked in. I will be sure to check with the TA at AAA to be sure the price can't go up. Because she pointed out to me I got the price (I'm assuming) of the tickets before their increase on Aug 16. Thanks for the advice.

After package is paid in full, rate is subject to change due to imposition of taxes or other charges of governmental authorities. Everyone on the same reservation must be on the same package, and, if anyone on the same reservation has purchased a ticket option, everyone on the reservation must have the same ticket options. Additional adult charges may apply for more than two adults per room.

So if you book a package through AAA and pay in full by 8/16, you will not pay the 2009 price increase?? WHat about the DDP?

All elements of the package are subject to change so since the DDP price went up for adults...you'd have to pay that increase too. Unless you pay in full.

The jury is still out on that one. You should call CRO. Technically the prices already went up (last weekend) so it might do no good to pay in full now.
