AAA package question about Park Hoppers

I received my AAA vacation documents yesterday and had a question. Are the park hopper tickets supposed to be shipped as well, or is park admission included with your room key upon check-in? I'm very well aware that you can use your room key for admission, but the reason I ask is because on the "Guest Itinerary" list it states that if an item has an asterisk (*) then, "This feature available at your hotel upon check-in". There is a (V) for all the vouchers included as well. When it comes to the part about the 8 day MYW Park Hoppers there is NO asterisk and NO (V) for voucher. So, should they have been included, or are we to automatically assume that we get them with our room keys? in advance!!!

To "automatically assume" anything is not a good idea.

Call AAA and ASK specifically about YOUR package.

FWIW, you can have most all standard tickets "transferred" to your room key upon check-in.

But make SURE that YOUR tickets have been "set up" for YOUR package before you go. Mistakes can happen. Find out in advance.

We just went the last week of April, with a AAA package. Checked the documents that we had, and yes if your MYW PH admission is listed on the Guest Itinerary that you received, (it does not have an "*" or a "v"), it will be on your room card when you check in for your room. Doesn't hurt though to double check this with your AAA agent to make sure you do have the MYW PH tickets as part of your package.

it should automatically be on your room key. That's the way mine was last year. We had no problems whatsoever. But as the others have said, when in doubt, check it out. Better safe than sorry. (Too cliche, sorry!)

I say you can automatically assume that the admission tickets will be delivered to at check in time. All packages must have tickets. Therefore if tickets did not come with the materials sent in advance (I think package tickets never come that way) the tickets will be generated or regenerated on the spot at check in in the normal fashion.

Not sure whether this is still true for AAA packages but guests with them have reported that, in the event they needed to add more days to their package tickets after check in, the cost of doing so was unusually great because at that moment the AAA discount attributed to the tickets was forfeited. Meanwhile at least one reliable source has said that adding non-expiration or water park fun or hopping after check in does not incur that forfeiture.
