AAA package and codes

I have quotes from both Disney and AAA. I usually go through Disney but AAA has a much better rate for me. I ask her if I get a pin would she be able to apply it to my reservation. She said she didn't think so. Is this true? I really want to book with AAA to save while I can, but if I get the 40% off Deluxe it would save me over $1100 as I am in Polynesian Theme park view.

Here are my quotes for 2 people:

Disney: 2 nights AKL studio Savannah view with Platinum plan--1748.08
AAA: 2 nights AKL but moved to a Deluxe Studio in Jambo House savannah view 1768.58

I will likely use AAA for this as you can't apply a discount to Platinum packages and both include 2 1 day tickets even though I don't need them as we have AP's

Ok 5 nights at Polynesian MK View with Deluxe Dining Plan:
Disney:$3590.95 does not include the one day tickets as I booked with AP
AAA: 3462.78 This includes 2 1 day tickets as she said she couldn't book it without including one day tickets.

Now do I really need the deluxe studio or should I save the $40 and take the other room. I mean I don't plan to use that kitchenette on the Platinum plan

Should I book AAA and save over $100 plus getting over $180 in tickets to use later, or should I pay more for Disney in the hope I get the code. I'm so confused this trip. I usually just look and book and find my own best deal, but this trip is so expensive I need to shave as much off as I can.

Or should I just scrap the plan and go for less days and stay Platinum at only 1 place for maybe 4 days. We go often as we live close, so this is just a nice trip for us. I have tons planned out but wondering if 8 days is too much.

Our AAA TA tries every pin or discount we get to see what works best for us. When we went last Aug. they offered free dining but the AAA discount worked out better since we stay at the BWV the room discount was better than the free dining and paying full price for the room. You should be able to have them try any pin or discount that comes along to see if you can save money.
