AAA or DFTW- which is better deal?

Does anyone happen to know if it is a better deal (since I am a AAA member) to book my accomodations for DF and I for the wedding and after with AAA? I am planning an Intimate wedding.

I thought I read in several posts that there is already a discount with Disney if you are having a wedding there? Is this correct?

So, I'm just curious if anyone has researched this or had this experience yet.

I know AAA offers special packages, etc.

I have received my room rates from DFTW for next year and they aren't that great- I'm having a custom. I have received much better deals using my annual passholder rates and AAA in the past. AAA doesn't have their rates released for next year, but I got some sample rates from an agent based on this year's rates and with tickets they were much better than DFTW. I would definitely get rates from both to check for the time you are going down.

As far as I know, Intimates don't get hotel discounts. We booked our room through Disney and used our AAA discount, hoping for an AP discount though!

The AP discount is for Annual Passes. We're going to be getting them since we're going for 11 days and will pay for itself on our second trip next spring. How much depends on the time of year and level of resort. It varies all the time, I'm interested to see since this will be the first time I've been an AP member.
