The Mousesavers site lists this as a AAA perk:

Private Lounges

*
If you buy a package through AAA you should receive a pass for the private AAA lounge in the Magic Kingdom, where you can cool off in the air conditioning and enjoy a free soft drink.

Has anyone stopped in at this lounge? Where is it? What if you are simply a AAA member and don't purchase the package through AAA? Can you still get in?

The lounge is someplace near space mountain?

You need a voucher to get in though, I had one for our last trip but kept forgetting to bring it with me! I will bring it down for our next trip since it has not yet expired.

I believe it is air conditioned and you can get a soda or water for free.

I believe it is behind the Carosele of Progress (sp?). There is a gate with the AAA logo on it. It resembles an air conditioned living room with Disney movies playing. You must have your voucher to get in. I believe thier are games and quiet activities for the young ones. It is a great place to cool off

We went last year. When you are exiting the buzz lightyear ride you look over to your right and you will see a very small gate and sign that says AAA. You need a voucher to get a soda but I believe you can go and if you have any AAA questions. The voucher is only good for one soda and you have to drink it there. They won't allow you to bring the can of soda outside. I don't remember any games but there was a tv. It was also air conditioned so it was nice to go to a quiet cold place (we were there in July). Nothing really spectacular about it.

My ds is mad because I did not add any smilies.:earsboy: :earsgirl:

Is this only for those who do packages under AAA or regular AAA members?

We stopped by last year. We did buy a package and we did have a voucher. It was refreshing and unrushed. The host could not have been nicer. He did make a point, though, of collecting our voucher.

You have to have a voucher, the only way to obtain a voucher is to book a package with AAA.
