Woohoo! I'm planning a 7 night/8 day trip from Dec 2-9, staying at the WL with 2 courtyard rooms for 2 adults, 1 junior, 3 kids with the dining and park hopper option.

Booking the package thru Disney would be $6503.09... Thru AAA it's $5894.37. Even with the $74 membership fee, I'm saving $534! Wow! :cool1:

Does anybody know if you book your package with AAA can you use your Disney Rewards to pay for it? If not, I'll just use that as my spending money at WDW. :cheer2:

That is a great savings! :) I am also a AAA member and only saw a $100 difference for this May. Maybe I should call for a another quote ;)

I think it's so high because it's on 2 rooms at a deluxe for 7 nights..Then again, that's why my package price is so darn high!

We booked POFQ for 10nights with dining package and 1 day base ticket for the four of us (me,DH,DD8,DS7) (we did not need tickets as I still had some from previous trip) for $2469 US and saved at least $300 US. Plus we received the prefered parking passes, gift from Planet Hollywood and free entre and Photopass with free 5x7 of your choice. I'm really pleased! :cool1: Now if they'd only release the dates for MVMCP I could start planning the TS restaurants we will visit. Glad to here you got an awesome deal also!

I booked our upcoming Christmas trip through AAA. Put the deposit down this am actually. And saved around $200. Cant beat that. :cool1:

Yes- your AAA travel agent can apply your Disney Visa rewards towards your package (can be applied towards your deposit, on its own, or towards your final payment).

AAA saved me $700 off my package in May. :teeth:

I thought you could only book "room only" thru AAA and get a discount. I just booked 8 nights at POR with dining and a 7 day base ticket for 5 (people) and was told there were no discounts for packages. Is that wrong? quoted $3479.31 thru disney.

Call your local AAA agent. Disney can only give you the AAA rate for room only, this is the same for non AAA agents. You can get your local AAA agents
listings using your zip code on www.aaa.com .
Good Luck,
Kathy

They only discount the room portion of the package, but you can still book a package through AAA. You'll still pay the same price for the tickets and dining plan. It's worth looking at to see the difference.

Thanks! I knew I could do it through Disney Travel, but wasn't sure about AAA.

We booked a room in october and got it for 94.00 a night through my AAA membership. This is at the All Star movies..

Thanks, I did call AAA and got a $200 difference. I figure it will pay for the car rental...

I know the room portion is discounted, but I wonder about park passes too, since AAA does discount them by approximately 5%. When I bought only passes from AAA, I did receive a discount.

I messed up on our travel dates so we are going one day early, so I called Disney and booked Pop for Nov 26/06 one night only with the CAA/AAA for $63 US (70 incl tax) it would have been $88 incl tax
