Has anyone ever used this office? If so, are they any good. I've only used a TA once. Since I knew more about WDW than she did, I now only make ressies myself.

I have used the AAA office in Independence, MO, which is right by KC. I would highly recommend them. The girl i've worked with is always very efficient and timely. And it helps that she knows Disney well.

That's good to know. But since I live in Olathe and DBF lives in Overland Park, Independence is a bit of a drive. Oh, he's the one with the AAA too.

There's a AAA travel office in Shawnee at I-435 and Shawnee Mission Parkway--between the Target and Walmart. I've been in but haven't booked with them. They were very nice.

You might call the MO one for a price comparison. I think the different states sometimes have different rates.

That's great to know. The one near DBF is on Metcalf, by the Dodge dealership.

This is the one we have used. Great service each time. Bought tickets there. Received our Diamond Parking Pass. I have never used them for a Disney package, but for lots of "bits and pieces" for other travel.....tickets, maps, etc. They were very helpful.

Just wanted to say hi to all the other KC members! I am excited to see how many are so close to me!

Hi all !!!

I'm 2 hours west of KC so obviously can't help you. Just wanted to say Hi to other Diser's in our area.

Someone should start a thread to see how many of us are out here in the midwest.:woohoo:

Haven't used the AAA offices either, just wanted to add my hello to fellow KC area Diser's

We also used the Independence office last year. I was very happy with them. I only went into the office once to pick up all the tickets etc. Otherwise I did everything by phone. I live north of Independence about 30 minutes.

This is my first time to book throught AAA. Although I called the number in the telephone book for one of the offices here in Wichita, KS, somehow I was connected to the Lawrence, KS office. I have to say, the agent I spoke with has been great! Since I am not sure if it OK to post her name, you can email me if you want it. Everytime I have asked her something, she has been extremely accommodating and prompt. One of the reasons I like doing things myself, is when I want to know something, I don't like to wait. I was booking reservations for two families, and this agent has priced things numerous times, and each time she has been speedy getting the information back to me. We are doing all our correspondance over the telephone, and you might not be comfortable with that. I don't know if she is a Disney "expert", but I have been pleased with the service I have received. I have been able to contact her via an 800 number so no cost for the phone calls.
