So, I picked up my travel documents from AAA yesterday. In it are all kinds of vouchers for extra stuff and one piece of paper with all our items included. It lists out table service, quick service, snacks, etc. and specifies that those items are received at check-in (on our card). It also lists our MYW 9 day passes, but doesn't specify anything about that.

I suppose this is an obvious question, but we will receive all that stuff upon check-in at Pop Century once we arrive, correct??? I guess we are most concerned about the MYW passes! I like having things IN HAND and hate having to wait until check-in...

One more question....we have two rooms and are planning on having the 3 kids stay in one and us in the other. Our agent requested connecting rooms. According to the Pop Century thread on here, they have a good amount of King bed rooms connected to double bed rooms. That would be AWESOME. How and when do I request that?? Should I call today? Fax? Wait until check-in and hope?

Since you booked through a TA they will have to make any requests for you. They should have in your reservation a travel with so that both rooms are linked. She also should have mentioned you would like connecting rooms. It isn't guaranteed though.

Your tickets will be attached to your room key. They will do this at check in.

This may be a silly question , but it's our first trip staying at a Disney Resort...

By attached, do you mean we get one "key" that is also our park pass, or it's a separate pass that is physically attached.

Thanks,

Ramon

Your room key will be a credit-card like piece of plastic with a magnetic strip. That magnetic strip will open your door to your room, and it will get you into the parks. It will also be used to deduct dining plan credits if you're on the DDP. And you can have them electronically link a credit card to it and use your room key to charge purchases at the parks and resorts.

It's a great system, IMO! :thumbsup2

Your ticket is the same card as your room key...that little credit card shaped pass is your key to everything :)

That sounds great. Except for the part about linking a credit card - my natural paranoia would never let me do that!

I do like that all the "Disney" stuff will be on one card. I was expecting to juggle our room key, park passes, and a 3rd thing for the DDP.

Thanks,

Ramon
