AAA discounts?

We are new AAA members. What is their typical discount? How do they compare to the codes Disney releases? Thanks!!

Between 10% - 20%. Disney codes are better, but AAA is better than nothing. Off the top of my head I believe I got 10% for April, Value Resort. You can always book with AAA discount then change to a Disney code when/if one comes out. AAA discounts are limited.

Last year we got a 20% discount through AAA, but they are typically 10- 20% as the pp stated. Two of the discounts Disney put out last year didn't equal our savings with AAA. I think it depends on the time of year you want to go and the discounts available through Disney. You can always book through AAA and then the TA can apply a Disney discount if something better comes along.

I inquired with AAA about a trip in May 2011 at Coronado Springs. I was told the discount was 15%. Deluxe was only 10%.

it will vary by dates and resort level. If I remember correctly our short stay at ASMo had a 15% discounts. That was some years ago. The last trip we had a 10% discount at POFQ in June.

The ticket discounts can be good. They are somewhat limited in offerings so we usually purchase ours from Undercover Tourist.

AAA is worth using for ticket discount! It is also great if you are driving and want maps or anything like that - brochures for any other destinations.
