AAA discount

Am I right in thinking that we can book an AAA rate with an hotel and then show an AA card?

Yes but I have never found a AAA rate cheaper than booking via a UK agent or other rates direct. Have you found a bargain?

Thanks Wayne. I agree that the AAA rates aren't usually that good but this is for the Candy Cane Inn in Anaheim and as far as I know you can only book direct with them so it'll knock a little bit off each night for us.

Unusual to only sell direct. Don't know anything about Candy Cane, we got great rates at HoJo at about £30/nt so stayed there both trips. A few years ago now though.

The HoJo was our other choice but I think we've decided on the Candy Cane. It wasn't an easy one (!) as both have great reviews but I think the deciding factor is its own shuttle - it means if our girls want to go back earlier or later than us I'll feel happier with them on it.
