AAA discount

Just an FYI on our experience last week....

We purchased a AAA membership for our upcoming trip. We purchased lots of stuff...t-shirts, towels, etc and always received a discount.

None of the food carts accepted the discount.

Finnegan's only took the discount on food...not on the beverages.

Mythos took the discount on everything...food, beer and wine.

We asked an employee and she said the discount is "hit or miss" and that her stand used to accept it on snacks and sodas, but never beer. Now, the carts do not accept it at all.

The girl that worked the cart "ale to the chief" or something like that said that she did used to discount but not any more.

Do you order "drinks" and get the discount? We just thought it was funny that Finnegans didn't discount, but Mythos did. We even had a full bottle of wine and about 6 beers or so at Mythos and all was discounted. We were surprised. At Finnegan's our bill was $175...mostly drinks...and our discount was only 8.00...Just thought I would point out the inconsistency... We looked at it as a "perk", so it was nice to see. Just didn't want anyone to think it was the same across the board....

alcohol is excluded on the discounts.

that's why you didn't receive them.

i have received the 10% discount at finnegans many times.
(Tm's receive a higher discount)

can't remember now if i used the aaa or ap there for the bill though.



i use the aaa most of the time.
i'm just being a rebel doing that.

aaa is 10% discount for the parks.
ap is also at a 10% level but used to be 15%...........

i still get aggravated over them changing the rules for the pap holders.

guess that means that mythos is the place to drink up! They are the only ones honoring the AAA discount on drinks!!!!

Does the AAA credit card count?

not that i am aware of.

the AAA card is what is advertised for the discount.

the preferred card of UO is the AE that can be used for discounts in the park and city walk.
