AAA discount with WDW?

I have AAA. (I realize 2006 pkg rates aren't available yet.)

I want to book a pkg for April 2006 with tics, dining plus and room.

Can I book through WDW and get the AAA discount OR does it have to be booked through AAA because it's a package?

Also, am I correct in assuming that you HAVE to book a pkg to get the dining plan ($35/$10 p/p)?

When the 2006 AAA discounts are finally announced, you will have two options, if you are booking a room only. You will be able to call Disney or call AAA and book the room only. At that same time, you can also book your tickets. If however, you wish to book a package with a room, tickets, and dining, the only way to do that is through AAA, if you want to use their discount for the package. Maggie
