AAA discount vs. ????

Need some help deciding how to book my next trip!

Our last few trips have been the whole family, in September, for Free Dining. Next trip will be just DH and I in November of '09 (no specific dates yet).

What is the best way to go about pricing and booking that trip?? Can I piece it together myself and go for a AAA room-only discount and still pay for the dining plan? Or do I need to book a package to get the DP?? If so, what do you all recommend? I have never been lucky enough to get a pin code of any kind so I'm not holding my breath there. The only other trip I booked myself was way before Free Dining ever came about and we camped, so outside the realm of FD, I'm kind of lost!

In order to get the dining plan you need to book a package. You can go through a AAA travel agent and get the discount on the room portion of the package and get the dining plan as part of the package.
