If I am a member today and make a AAA room only reservation for next spring and my membership expires at the end of 06, will WDW deny my discount at check-in? Do you just flash a card at check-in or do they actually try to verify the account is active??

This will be my first time using my AAA discount at Disney but whenever we use it at hotels I just have to present it at check in - my membership cards have the expiration date imprinted on them.

I would assume you would need to have a current membership to be able to utilize it.

Yes, do have your membership card available and ready to show. I have been asked to show it in the past at check-in and it does have an expiration date on it.

Also, having a valid AAA card is good, not just for Disney discounts. I ended up with a flat tire the other day, with my husbands car and he was out of town. I called AAA, had it changed in a heartbeat with no out of pocket expense to me other than my yearly AAA annual fee. And, that fee was paid for previously due to my Disney hotel savings this past year.

I just booked my AAA rate for January at the Poly, and the CM not only asked for my AAA number, but also the expiration date. I don't know if they will ask to see it at check-in, but I don't remember having to give the expiration date before. I'd just renew and enjoy the perks!
