Does anyone know what the AAA discount card that you recieve when booking a package through them is good for?? :flower:

If you mean your AAA Diamond card then you are eligible for lots of discounts in several different places. Your card will come with a flier that has all the benefits listed. You can save varying %'s on different things such as dining, recreation and leisure, services like auto repairs at AAA Car Care Center, purchases at World of Disney at DTD and Disney Tours.

It is good for 10% - 20% off at Fulton's, House of Blues, and Earl of Sandwich in DTD, 15% off behind the scenes tours, 10% or 15% off mini-golf, 10% off merchandise at World of Disney, 10% off merchandise at Planet Hollywood, lots more that I can't remember.

I just sent my leftover cards to 2 other DISers so I don't have the info anymore! :)

Hi! I have the card in front of me: First, you must have a resort card as well and it expires 12/31/05. Unfortunately I didn't keep the list of benefits but I think they are as listed previously. I do know that alcohol is not discounted at any of the places though. I only plan to use mine to rent the little searacer boats but I'm thinking all I really need is my AAA card. Brenda

Oh I guess I won't be getting it then. LOL. I always stay offsite and only buy my tickets through AAA.

I have always used my AAA Diamond card for discounts at WDW even if I didn't book my trip or get my tickets through them. It's always been beneficial to ask when purchasing ANYTHING from lunch to tour tickets to the mouseboats at the Poly that I love so much! They won't tell you there is a discount if you have AAA but if you ask they will give it to you. ALOT of the times I haven't even had to show my card at all it was just a matter of mentioning it. :Pinkbounc

I think the AAA card and the Diamond Pass are two different things, aren't they? And that is why I wondered if I'd need both. If I find out that my AAA card gets me the same discount, anyone who wants the Diamond Pass can have it. I'll check with AAA today and get back. Brenda

I will have the AAA Diamond card. I guess I was wondering if we could use it at the resort gift shops, refillable mugs and so on??? Thanks!! :flower:

The AAA card and the diamond card are 2 different cards. Only the diamond card will get you the bennies.
Also, I didnt see mention here of the preferred parking at all the parks and the free soda (1 time only) offered in the AAA lounge at the Magic Kingdom. :flower:

AAA Diamond Disney Discount Card good thru December 31, 2005, no block out dates. It seems like you need to be staying on Disney property to use this.

We used our AAA discount for the Family Magic Tour, dinner at Fulton's, and shopping at World of Disney.

Fulton's and World Of Disney needed the Diamond card, not our membership card. The tour never asked to see anything. It was booked and paid for long before the trip. We carried our regular AAA card with us but we never had to show it. At the AAA lounge in MK they just wanted the voucher that came with our package.

I have AAA, but didn't book through them because the resort I wanted wasn't available at the AAA rate. I found this out AFTER I had joined AAA for the sole purpose of getting a Disney Package through AAA! My question is can I use my regular AAA card to get any discounts or do you have to have the Diamond card to get the deals? Do you think maybe I could get a merch discount w/a regular card?

So, do you get the AAA Diamond card when you book a package through them? I just booked through AAA and cancelled with Disney travel. Kristin saved me $606.49!!! Am I glad I switched and joined AAA!! I'm anxious now just to get my regular AAA membership card!!! LOL!! I'll probably have nightmares from cancelling my trip with Disney Travel until I get my AAA card!!! :rotfl:

With just the regular AAA card, can you get 15% off of Disney Tours (ie. the family magic tour)?
Thank you
