AAA Discount and Dsiney Packages ?

I have a ressie I made throguh disney travel. If I join AAA can I have the discount applied to my package? Also, if I rent a car at disneyworld, are there special parking spaces for AAA members at the parks? TIA

From what I understand, you would have to cancel your current reservation and have AAA book your package with the AAA discount. You cannot have a AAA package applied by anyone other than AAA.

I also believe that if you have a AAA package, you reserve a AAA parking pass and can park in a specified area of the lot--which actually may or may not be closer than parking in the regular lot.

Yes, AAA have special diamond pass parking... usually the nearest lot after handicapped.... which allows you to skip the tram to the entrance. We used it at EPCOT (where the spaces are nearer to entrance then where you would get the Disney buses) and at AK. I don't know where you are staying at WDW, but probably taking Disney transport to MK would be quicker then using AAA diamond parking.

You get the AAA diamond pass with your package. But, in all honesty, not a single person asked to see it at the parking lots.
