AAA Diamond Parking

We are driving down and plan on using WDW transport but I was wondering if anyone out there has used AAA Diamond Parking and if it is a hassel.

Yes we have but most times it's easier to walk and take the tram then walking from the AAA lot.

I think it depends on which park. We used it at MGM. The AAA parking was the first/last spot on each row. So you could be really far away from the entrance, but you're in that first/last spot.

At the MK, the lot was off to the side (if I remember correctly) and it was a pretty far walk. We were surprised at the distance.

I agree, trams might be better.

We hate to ride the trams so we always park in the AAA lot. It's usually right behind the handicap parking. We used it every day of our trip and will miss not having one next trip.

we like using ours too. We always went early so we were able to get great parking places with our AAA pass. I really missed it the last trip we took because we didn't get our tickets from AAA.

If I'm not going through AAA, but am using their membership for a discount, do I still get the parking pass? Or is this just for people who book packages through AAA?

Check with your local office. Different regions may have different rules. When the AAA Diamond Parking first started, some offices only gave the pass if you booked a package; some would give you one if you booked even just your room through them (not through CRO using the AAA discount) and some would just give out the Parking Pass if you went in and asked for it.
