I've seen several posts commenting on a Carolina AAA agent being a great help and not charging a booking fee. I'd like to get in under the January wire. Can someone please share the contact info or at least the specific office that I should be calling. Thanks.

I would be grateful for the information about the agent in the Carolina's as well if anyone could post it.

Thanks,
Angela

I used Tamara White in the Charlotte office. Her email is tpwhite@mailaaa.com and her phone is (800)888-3262 ext 5887. We booked through her last year, and again this year. She is very helpful, and has always been able to answer all of my questions!

Thanks for the info. One question is; does Tamara charge the $25 booking fee. I am trying to avoid this because some AAA agents charge it and some don't. I feel they get enough from my yearly dues and the commision from Disney.

Thanks

AAA dropped their booking rate for members to 15.00 this year. I know because I just booked with one in MI on monday and my agent told me and that is what my reciept states.:)

I did not pay a booking fee - at least not that I was told or printed on my receipt/confirmation. I do have AAA Plus, so that may make a difference. My trip for June, 7 days/6 nights at CSR w/ base tickets and DDP is $2425. It was $2601 through WDW directly. If I did pay a fee, then it was well worth it. Tamara handled my reservations, room requests, ADRs, and answered thousands of questions, so I think she earned her fee if there was one! Don't forget that if you book in Jan, you get a gift card ($25 or $50 - can't remember for sure.) You also get entered in their Disney sweepstakes, and get bonus coupons. Last year we got a coupon for a beautiful Mickey clock for free, and it was marked $30 in our resort gift shop.

I have not paid a booking fee for the last trip nor for my upcoming trip. I have gone thru all my paperwork from the last trip and I am looking at what I currently have for the upcoming trip and there is no mention of a booking fee.

I also have booked 2 WDW trips using a AAA ta here in SC. I have not been charged any booking fees for either trip. My agent has been extremely helpful and has been known to go above and beyond in her job...She is awesome.

It is hard to refer you a name without know which AAA is closest to you but I am sure there is a great one near you

You can use any aaa doesnt matter who is closest, unless that is important to op.

I don't use my local office (Raleigh) because when I requested pricing for my first trip, Tamara was the person who responded. She is in Charlotte. I have only communicated through phone and email, and get all of my materials through the mail. My suggestion is to use an agent people are happy with, instead of who is close!
