We have 3 families going to Disney in September and we are for sure taking a day to go to IOA. We would like 2 days so we can go to US also but don't want to pay the extra cost. One of the families has AAA and said that last year they saw an offer for Buy A Day Get A Day and was hoping they'd do the same this year. Does anybody kow if they offer that on a regular basis or was that a one time deal that had never been seen before?

I haven't seen that since before the Wizarding World opened. It does happen frequently for Universal Hollywood though.

Since Harry Potter opened in Orlando, I haven't seen that promotion anymore.I have seen it offered for Universal Hollywood, but once Harry Potter opens there I am thinking you won't see it there either.Universal Orlando is bringing in plenty of people without having to do the deep discounts anymore.

As the others have stated, this was for Universal Hollywood...not Orlando. You won't see a promotion like that for Orlando anytime soon.

since hollywood universal is more of a one day visit, they have those offers.

UO doesn't.

Thanks so much for the responses. Guess we'll just be doing IOA. I know it's not a crazy amount to go from a 1 day to a 2 day pass but we're kinda flipping out about the 1 day price as it is so I'm doubting anybody will want to go that route. Not to mention getting there twice without having a vehicle.

You won't find any discounts on one day tickets...Universal and Disney are the same...the longer you stay the cheaper the tickets.
