AAA blues

I'm so fed up with the "local" AAA TA, I have tried the 3 closest ones and have gotten no where ... I've done better on my own I was hoping I could turn over my travel and then let them know if I found a code, but now it looks like I get to do all the leg work, unless I can find a dream come true AAA TA

I feel your pain. My local AAA stinks. I was directed towards an awesome AAA TA in PA. I am very pleased with her service. Maggie

Instead of booking with my local AAA I called the 1-800 number and have an awesome TA. I called her first thing on Monday when I found of the 2008 rates were out and she converted our room only to a Magic Your Way package with dining that same day and we are a grand gathering of 13. Best of luck as I know your pain because the agent I had 2 years ago was awful. If a discount code comes out I can call her and she calls disney immediately and has it applied. We did this last year and had no problems. By going with AAA versus booking with disney we are saving over $900 for 5 rooms.....

Now I just have to decide if I want a packet or do Al A Carte !?! Can you still get just tickets thru AAA at a discount??

I belive you can still get discounted tickets with AAA but I am not sure if they sell anything more that a 5 day park hopper. I would suggest you sign up for the mousesavers newsletter. The discount ticket site they recommed are sometimes actually cheaper than the AAA discounted ones.

I purchased Florida Resident's Seasonal Passes at my local AAA office for a discounted rate (before the rate increase). If you check AAA for your area online it should show the discounted rates vs. the current rates for purchasing directly from Disney.

I went on AAA's web site and requested a quote...the savings ended up being about $150 give or take. I didn't think that was too bad.

First of all where in ohio do you live if it's near toledo I have a really good agent. Second I was running into the same problem and I was told that it's that you cannot get the discount off of the preferred rooms anymore, it only on the standard.

Delphos ... I tried Lima, Findlay and someone in Columbus. If needed I will check in Toledo

BUT my in-laws threw me for a loop, the are looking at renting a home in Windsor Palms.

I got my room only reservation through WDW using a AAA code and mine is a discounted rate for a Preferred Room. I've always been able to get a discounted rate whether it's a preferred or standard room.
