I found a package through AAA that is $200 cheaper than I priced anywhere else. Unfortunately the agent is not as knowledgable about Disney as I would like..( I knew more about the dining plan, ADR's and codes)...
However, I do not know the answer to this question: If I book this package now, will they allow me to apply a Disney Visa code should one come out in the future? Or do they consider the $200 to be a discount and therefore I can't add to it?
The agent didn't know and advised me to call the Disney Visa! I'm sure they aren't the ones to ask!

You get one discount or the other. If Disney Visa comes out with a package which is better than your AAA package, then you will switch your package. I would book AAA package and just wait and see. You may have specific resort and that resort may not be available with the Disney Visa promo.

Thank you...I'll do that.

I booked with AAA for January and I will not book witht hem again for September. I tried to use codes and every time they said no. Either booked up or room only or something else. Next time I will book directly through Disney so then I can apply any code I want.

I just booked through my AAA TA today after searching and figuring out by myself. She was able to book a package using the current discount code with airfare and insurance cheaper than just using the AAA discount. I must add however, that our dates were flexible (even though this is a "last minute" trip). In fact, it was about $600 cheaper! Even she couldn't quite believe it. Anyway, the price was more than satisfactory to me and now we are all set. I do agree that alot depends upon your travel agent. I was just lucky to get such a fine one. Good luck!

You can't just add a code, WDW has to have that room avail under the discount.

I have a great AAA TA, she has learned alot from me. I wan't going to use her again after my experience in 2005/2006, but she has learned alot since then, so she booked by long trip for December 2008. I book my trips when they are room only. She has also helped other DIS members as well.
