AAA and MYW free dining

We just found out a couple we know is going on their honeymoon to disney, the arrive 10/3/05 and will be there for 13 nights, LUCK THEM They booked their trip thur AAA and have already put 900.00 down, my questions:

1. Can they still get the free dining?

2. Will they just get the free dining for 2 days, since it expires 10/4/05 or will they get it for the whole trip?

No. They can't combine free dining with any other discount. Of course they could cancel their AAA reservations and make new ones with Disney. They'll be charged regular rate for their rooms and tickets. The official line was they will have to put down a deposit by July 3, but when I booked this recently, the CM told me I had until 11 July to put down my deposit. The balance is due 45 days out, and after 45 days there's a $100 cancellation fee. Within 5 days, that fee jumps up to $200. Hope this helps.

They need to book by July 3 - you usually have 14 days from the time of booking to make the deposit.

There's no need for them to cancel with AAA. They just need to tell their AAA TA to check into changing their reservation for them.

My AAA TA told me personally that she had been switching some of her clients to the free dining package whose travel dates fall into the proper range. You cannot combine the AAA room discount with the free dining, but the free dining plan still comes out cheaper in the long run.

FREE dining + rack rate will be cheaper than paying for dining + AAA room discount.

My AAA agent change us too after we did the math. Take the food and drop the AAA discount.

I just saw this part of your post....sorry for not answering before.

The free dining plan will be applied to their entire stay

Also, they may have to change resorts. If the allotment of free dining plans for the resort their current reservation is held at are all booked , then they would need to change resorts in order to get the free dining.
