AAA and Discounts?

I am more than likely going to book our trip through AAA. Does the AAA discounts equal the codes/other discounts that I may come across or are the codes/discounts better or worse?

if a better code comes out, it can be applied to your package, even if you had it booked already.

yes, but it usually won't be compatible with the AAA room discount, so you can only have one or the other, not both combined.

Yup, always book AAA if a code is not yet out then keep an eye out for a code for which you otherwise qualify, if one comes out call AAA and tell them to get the code applied, sometimes you might need to change the class of room etc. for instance, standard room not waterview etc.
I did this on my upcoming trip in Nov. I booked AAA which saved me $250 over the same package with Disney direct, then the code came out, the one that expired a couple weeks or so ago, and I had them apply that one instead which saved me another $400. so total saving of 650. over the original Disney quote.
That way if a code does not come out you at least have a room and a discount, you can book the AAA rate on room only direct with Disney but you can only book a package, which includes the room discount, through AAA.
