AAA - Am I doing something wrong?

I've had a reservation at the CR for next May for a while now. After reading here that AAA discounts were now available for 07' I called to have that discount applied to my reservation. The CM said that AAA discounts were only available thru dec 31. So I called back figuring she was wrong and a 2nd CM told me the exact same thing. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

We have actually booked AAA through CRO for Feb 07. We're staying at ASMU but we did get quotes on CBR and AKL. So I'm not sure if the CM's you spoke to actually knew what they were talking about. Or it could be that the AAA rates have already gone for CR during your time frame. But it seems by the wording of through Dec 31 that they were just misinformed

I'd say try CRO again. We booked July, 2007 at WL with AAA rate on Sunday morning.

I booked my room for CR on saturday for June and then called back sunday and applied my AAA discount. I will say it did take an act of congress, both CMs I talked to couldn't do it, the first CM put me on hold so he could call support group and we were disconnected, then the second one couldn't do it so she said she put it on my reservation and she would get tech support to figure it out on monday and for me to call back and make sure they did. We called back monday and it had been applied. You definitely need to try back!

I echo the "try again" advice. I had booked 3 standard WL rooms for January 2007 & when I called last Sunday to apply the AAA discount I was on the phone for an hour to get it accomplished. Worth the $500+ savings, but sheesh!!! The CM I spoke with was very kind, but kept having to get assistance, ask questions, etc. so maybe getting a different CM will help.

I called CRO Sunday morning to apply the AAA discount to my room only reservation at BWI for January, 2007. The whole conversation took less than five minutes. No problem at all.

I think it took so long for me because I have 3 rooms reserved. The CM wasn't sure she could apply the discount to all 3 with my AAA number (she could).
