AA55

Hi all,

i've received my booking information and we are flying AA55 from MAN to Chicago. Does anyone know what is it like on American Airlines? how can i find out what plane it will be?we've only flown with virgin so a bit unsure what it will be like. Is there inflight entertainment etc. or if someone could point me in the direction where i can find this info that'd be great.

Do you have a record locator for you flight? It will be 6 capital letters. If you use that, you can manage your booking on the AA site, see the plane configuration and choose your seats.

American Airlines are fine - no better or worse than VA or BA. Food is equally as terrible though occasionally they still serve pizza which is the only food that an airline can't quite ruin. From our experience, there has always been on demand seatback entertainment but have never flown from MAN with them. Here are the entertainment options which change monthly.

I usually look up the configurations on www.seatguru.com You can put in the flight number, route and date and it will show you which plane you will likely be on and the seating configuration.
