I just saw this at AA.com and the restrictions are below. Basically, it's only for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so that elimates many people. It good till the end of August (September 3).

I plugged in August 27 - September 3 and got (4 Tickets) non-stop at good times for $660. total! Sounded good to me so I thought I'd pass it along! Hope this helps someone!

I tried through Orbitz and the lowest was $155 with AA. They didn't have this special I saw at AA.com.

Restrictions

Fares are round-trip for Economy Class travel and are nonrefundable.

Reservations must be made at least 7 days prior to departure, but no later than 11:59pm (CT), August 26, 2002, whichever comes first.

You must purchase your ticket at the same time reservations are made.
Fares are valid for departure through September 3, 2002. (September 2, 2002 for fares with 1-day minimum stay restriction.)

Return travel must commence 30 days after departure in some cases, but no later than 12:00 midnight September 3, 2002, which ever comes first.

Fares are valid for travel on Tuesday and Wednesday only.

No enroute stopovers permitted. A stopover occurs when the passenger does not depart an intermediate point within 4 hours.
Fares apply on American Airlines/American Eagle operated flights and AA flights operated by TWA (no codeshare flights allowed).
Seats are limited.

Fares may not be available on all flights or in all markets and are subject to change without notice
.
Prepaid ticketing is not allowed using this fare.
Rollovers from higher fares are not permitted.

For all travel, up to $18 USD per round-trip in local airport charges may be collected in addition to the advertised price.

Fares do not include a federal excise tax of up to $3 USD per each U.S. domestic flight segment of your itinerary. A flight segment is defined as one takeoff and landing.

Fares do not include September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 for each enplanement that originates at a U.S. airport, up to a maximum of $5 per one way or $10 per round trip.
Other restrictions may apply.

Changes to your ticket may be made if you pay up to a $100 USD change fee and meet the restrictions applicable to the new fare.

A $10.00 per passenger paper ticket fee applies if electronic ticketing is available as an option but the passenger chooses the paper ticket option in lieu of electronic tickets. This fee does not apply to first class, business class or full fare coach tickets, tickets purchased within 3 days of the date of travel, or for passengers with a billing address in the United Kingdom or Puerto Rico or who are Executive Platinum AAdvantage members.

If the FedEx delivery option is selected for tickets issued more than 8 days prior to the date of travel, a $25 fee per reservation will be assessed.

A portion of travel may be on American Eagle, American's regional airline associate. American Eagle is a registered trademark of American Airlines, Inc.

Just wanted to say that since the $138 didn't include all of the taxes and fees, the Orbitz fare of $155 is probably the same thing. The fares listed on Orbitz do include all of the taxes and fees.

Thanks for posting. Hope it helps someone.
