AA (AAA) universal hotel discount

Hi
Can anyone explain to me how to find out if there are any AAA discounts available at the Universal Hotels. I have a reservation for July and understand that you can apply AAA discount later, but how can I find out if any are available? I have tried to google but I am not getting very far.
Any help would be great!

I could be wrong but I think you have to phone up for the AAA rate. I had to phone up myself a few days ago to amend my rate!

You could maybe try asking in the Universal resorts forum? Some experts on there

I just went to the AAA website and got a quote no problem. Can't be sure its accurate but looks about right.

I just booked Portofino Bay Hotel for the following dates:

11th Nov - 14th Nov Bay View 2 Queen beds @ $317 per night with AAA (the Lowes website had it listed at $369 p/n so have saved a few pennies)

I booked via telephone - the number is 1-888-273-1311 for Universal Hotel bookings. They were really friendly and helpful and I got an email confirmation straight away Just say you've got AAA membership when booking and they'll check it for your (but of course don't forget to take your AA card with you when you go - am already paranoid I'll forget it!!)

just phone reservations and ask what the AAA rate is for your dates, and ask them to change it to that, after all if its lower you will have to call anyway to change it.
