Ready for a monster reply? Here goes.........
Yes! I am in for this month of new beginnings! Love the theme; thanks for your enthusiastic and supportive hosting, JacknSally!
I'm Kate, a 50+ RN, wife and mom to 2 young adult kids. I've participated in these monthly challenges Sept thru Nov. December was a super fun, crazy busy month for me - with a fabulous WDW trip, work, and then all of the wonder and hoopla of Christmas! I've lost 17 pounds since rejoining WW mid-August, but it has been a s-l-o-w process! I'm averaging a pound a week, which is half the rate of my loss 17 years ago when I made Lifetime at WW. BUT, this is the first time I've attended WW beyond mid-Oct and the first time I've lost weight in the late Fall/ early Winter months. This thread definitely helped with that - great support and another layer of accountability.
My usual weigh-in is on Friday, so no weigh-in last week and this week will also be a no - go, unless I can get there on Saturday. I just got a great, accurate digital scale for Christmas, so I can certainly utilize that! My goal will be 4 pounds, since I can't seem to get past one pound/week.
Looking forward to a great new year!
Losing weight after 50 is definitely a DIFFERENT process! Good for you got not giving up! So happy to have you here with us this month!!
I would like to join in to the challenges of 2016. WISH has always been a fun place. OK so to go along with my goals for 2016 I am back to WISH and hopefully I can keep at it more frequently. Is funny that it isn't even the first yet there are already 3 pages of posts to read. I skimmed through them and when I saw MFP names I tried to add them. So if you see a request from jaelless that is me. I was doing sort of good with MFP then I stopped when autumn started which was naughty of me. So now dusting the app off and going to use it again. So about me... My name is Jennifer and I currently live in Jax, FL with my 20 yr old son, six yr old daughter, and my mom (she'd kill me if I gave her age). I hate saying my age cause it sounds so old and I don't feel that old not do I look that old, but I just turned 47 I think LOL I tend to loose track. I am an RN who works night weekends. I also go to college part time in order to eventually become a legal nurse consultant. This year I have big plans. The biggest is to move down to Orlando area at the beginning of December. So most of goals involve that one. I want to save enough money so that when we move we can buy annual passes with water park option LOL I have never been to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach but they look so fun. Another is getting rid of clutter around my house so that moving is easier. Then there are my fitness goals which is why I am here. I would adore becoming healthier this year, which includes losing weight of course. I want to be a good role model for my daughter. My daughter is basically a veggie person, she would not miss meat much, so finding new ways to get her eating healthier is goal. That will also help me eat healthier. She and I bake way too much. I have huge sweet tooth LOL which I need to shrink. I also need to exercise more. I make sure to get 10,000 steps a day, but that is not doing the trick. Have to find what will work this year. So my goal for January is to just lose a pound a week. Not a big goal but challenging since my scale refuses to budge LOL
So jealous of your proximity to the Mouse! Glad you are here with us!
Lotta runners here, you all are inspiring me
I'm Michele, and I tried a few WISH challenges a few yrs back, but I fizzled out on them--a lot of folks on them, I just got overwhelmed with the posts

But I appreciate that the intro to this challenge said participate at whatever level we can. I like that!
So the 411 on me. I'll be 47 on Jan 31, I have 2 ds's 10 & 14 and amazing dh same age as me--we celebrated 20 yrs of marriage this summer with a Dis Med cruise with our boys, very first cruise, truly once in a lifetime. I'm a FT school teacher, Cub Scout leader, perform regularly in coffee houses as part of an acoustic duo, sing in the choir, etc., etc. Taking a group of high schoolers to Europe in March, would like to take up less room in my airplane seat!
I'm here to hit reset on my life. I love my wine at night, love my carbs, both of which has translated to my clothes getting tighter as I get older. I prob have about 15-20 lbs to lose, truth be told. I'd love to drop 10. My wake up call was a few wks ago when I fainted, just dropped. Dh called 911 and I got an ambulance ride, 7 stitches in my chin and a broken molar which still smarts. They didn't find anything officially "wrong" luckily, most likely just dehydrated, but my takeaway is that I haven't been taking care of myself and it could have been worse.
My goals this Jan:
- I will get to the gym (at least) 2x/week.
- I'll track on MFP (I'm @javame there)
- I'll ditch the bread and most gluten/processed food.
Looking forward to participating with you all!
Michele
I agree that it is EASY to fade away from the WISH challenges when they get super busy (as they often do in January)..... but DO NOT FEAR! Do NOT feel like you must reply to everyone or be here every single day! That isn't realistic! This should NOT be one more "chore" or "stressor" in your life.... this thread and all of us are here to SUPPORT and HELP and ENCOURAGE each other.
Your fainting spell sounds SO SCARY! Glad you are okay!!
Man, I turn my back for 12 hours and I've already got a ton to catch up on! HA! I'm just doing a drive-by check in for now... Just a few minutes before we head to my parents' house for board game night.
What games did you play??
Something for everyone to think about as we leave behind 2015 and wake up with to a brand new chapter tomorrow morning (THOUGH! @Flossbolna isn't it 2016 for you already?!)...
What are you going to let go of as we make this transition? I'm curious to hear your thoughts! I'll check in tonight as I'm able but I will definitely be back tomorrow morning with our first QOTD for 2016!
Letting go of the OCD that things must be PERFECT or at least GREAT or they aren't worth doing! My biggest problem is (as the saying goes) letting PERFECT be the enemy of GOOD ENOUGH! If I can't walk 3 miles, I don't tend to even go out for 1 mile.... because it seems like it is "not enough". If I cannot SCRUB the kitchen floor until is sparkles, I don't even bother to give it a quick mop....(most of the time anyhow). If I can't weigh/measure/track every nibble perfectly, I don't do it at all (BAD IDEA).
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
It is OFFICIALLY 2016, and we are coming IN with a BANG!
I am SO excited for and proud of everyone so far for even taking the time and making the effort to sign up for this month's challenge. You are already farther ahead on your journey than you were even a week ago!
So let's go ahead and dive right into those QOTD's! I know that several people have already given their goals for the month, but it's kind of the requisite "First Day" question, so I've also added a little twist this time so that everyone can participate even if they've already said their January goal! So without further adieu...
QOTD for January 1, 2016!
Part 1 - What is your goal just for this month? How will you accomplish that? What speed bumps lie in your path this month?
Part 2 - What is your goal for the entire year?
Your goals can be ANYTHING that you want to achieve/accomplish over the month or the year. Losing a specific amount of weight, running a mile in a specific amount of time, building a savings account, learning how to meal prep, spending more quality time with your family, getting rid of all of the clothes you don't wear anymore - ANYTHING! Anything that you feel will make your life better.
My goal for January will be to lose 3 pounds..... not a terribly extreme goal but I fear setting myself up for failure. I did NOT end the year where I wanted to on the scale, but I'm not in the "danger zone" at the moment either. I will accomplish my goal by getting back on track with my WW eating, embracing the new SmartPoints system more fully, and dumping the carbs and junk that has found its way into my cupboards over the holidays!
Speedbumps..... like I said above, letting PERFECT be the enemy of GOOD ENOUGH!
Goal for 2016 (assuming you mean lifestyle/health/fitness/diet goal)...... get back into the low end of my COMFORT ZONE (i.e. a solid 7 pounds from where I am right now) and get back to SOME SORT Of regular exercise (which may mean finding something NEW to do).
Part One - My January 2016 Goal!
Goal: Lose 4 lbs
Plan: I am going to try to use more common sense in my diet. Low-carb just is not a long-term sustainable tactic for me, and I want to break the yo-yo chain once and for all. I'm going to log my food in MFP (trying for daily!) whether good or bad, keeping an eye on my macros and especially my water intake, which I have gotten bad about again. I'm going to try to get my daily sleep schedule back under control - I'm naturally an extreme night-owl but I in turn feel like I waste my entire day... and I'm sure it doesn't do a lot of good for my body, either. I'm also going to walk 30 minutes 5 days a week - either outside with my dog if the weather is nice, or inside on the treadmill if it isn't.
Speed Bumps: Just me. I don't have any events or anything going on this month that are food-centric like Thanksgiving or Christmas, so that's a big help. Even my birthday won't be a big thing. We might go to dinner but that's about it - we've just never been big birthday celebrators. So it really just falls to me and my will power and determination... and my ability to deny myself the desire to sit on the couch under a blanket when it's cold, haha.
Part 2 - My 2016 Goals
Goal #1 - By December 31, 2016, I want to be 55-lbs lighter than I am now, weighing in at 160-lbs. I won't be FIRM on this number, however, if I (for example) have increased my muscle to the point where I might be 180-lbs but wearing a size 8 or 10. I think the clothing size and how I feel is more important to me than the number on the scale. 55-lbs in 12 months averages out to losing 4.5-lbs a month, which sounds completely doable. I'm going to shoot for a 4-lb loss this month and hopefully I'll be able to exceed that and really start out on the right foot.
Goal #2 - I plan to use the savings method of $1 for week 1, $2 for week 2, $3 for week 3, $4 for week 4, etc., from now until the end of the year. This will put an additional $1300 in our savings account without making us feel like we are really, really hurting for money. We want to go to Disney World again in 2017, and that will definitely cover tickets for the two of us, plus a little extra, barring a ridiculous price increase lol. Hopefully I will be able to find a job soon that will help with that even more. Fingers crossed!
Love your saving plan and your food plan!
Can I join you all this month?
Intro: I'm Roxy and I have been active on the exercise challenge and have a Wish journal about running. I started running in 2015 and my goals were all related to being active and running and just getting out there and doing it. I only weighed myself twice last year.
This year now that I know I am capable of exercising (I had a lot of self doubt about it prior to last year) I'd like to try to make better diet decisions and take the 10 lbs off that my doctor suggested. I'm about 5 lbs over the healthy weight range per my doc.
I start today at 163.2 lbs per my new fancy scale. My hubby is along for the ride with me as he trains for a sprint triathlon in the Clysdedale category (guys over 250 lbs)
My big goals for 2016 are to run an 8k, a 10k, and eventually a 15k in November. I know it will be easier if my body is running on good things. Fast food is my weakness because it easy. My daughter is 3 now and it's easier to cook while she plays so that will help. I also really need to drink more water.
I will be at Disney for the first weekend of January and will be eating Disney food but also running at marathon weekend for the 5k. So I don't expect to really have results right away.
My goal will be to go below 160 in Jan, would be first time since before my pregnancy in 2012 but I'm soooo close.
Hey new friend! Welcome aboard!! Glad you have a fancy new scale!
Happy New Year!!!! I'm awake! I'm only slightly hungover! And for the second day in a row, I'm at 196.6! Starting the year in Onederland put a HUGE smile on my face!!!
Part One - January 2016 Goals
Goal: Lose 6.8 pounds. A normal person would just round up to 7, but I'll consider the month a 100% success as soon as I leave the 190s in the dust!!
Plan: Fully committing to giving WW SmartPoints/Beyond the Scale a fair shot for the month. Not even going to double track in MFP because that just leads to me whining about how I'm not eating enough calories. The FitBit is also sticking with my and I'm shooting for 341,000 steps.
Speed Bumps: New job starts Monday. Bar exam is less than two months away (and law school and my first bar exam was a long, long time ago). I'm a stress eater. The good news is that it is not a big event month. Primarily just daily eating challenges....
Part Two - 2016 Goals
1. My dream weight is a mere 57.6 pounds away. I'm not sure that I can achieve 139 pounds at my advanc(ing) age but I'm going to do everything in my power to make it happen.
2. The real goal is to lose the 29.6 pounds necessary to put me back in the healthy weight category. And I'd like it to happen before I set foot on the plane to Orlando in April 25. I want to look like a million dollars for that Victoria and Albert's reservation.
3. Get around to telling DH that we have said V&A reservation before he asks why I am putting his suit and dress shoes in his park bag on the day of our reservation. Or why I packed a suit for him to take to WDW at all. I blame his parents for dragging him and his sisters there when he was 12. He hated it and starts whining like a traumatized 12 year old forced to abandon Space Mountain for a suit and fancy dinner whenever I bring up trying to get reservations. Sigh.
SO MANY great goals for 2015.... and so many stressors! Good luck with the new job tomorrow!! And thanks for giving the new WW plan a fair shot!
Part 1 Jan goal:
lose 4 lbs and post an NSV with each check in.
I would love to lose just 4 lbs this month because that would get me under 200! I've been flirting with getting there since thanksgiving but the holidays prevented me from losing a lot of weight. I'm very happy with the outcome but now that January is here I'm ready to see some major headway. Also, I love NSVs because they keep me mentally healthy during this journey.
Plan- I will be following WW for another month. I also have a training plan that I started last week for running. It's actually a 5k intermediate Hal Higdon plan but it bumps up the mileage quite a bit so I'm thinking that increasing my workouts by quite a bit will really bump up the weight loss.
Speed bumps- hunger. Ever since I started this new WW plan with smart points I've been starving. So I'm going to have to find new ways to attack the hunger because the late night snacks are killer.
Goals for 2016:
I have a couple. I would like to reach my initial goal weight of 170 by October. That's 35 lbs in between now and then which I definitely think is doable. I say this is my initial goal weight because I'm not sure where exactly I want to land on the scale. I just want a sustainable weight so that might be more or less.
I would also like to read 50 books this year. I love reading and writing and I like to think of myself as a binge reader. So I'll read like 5 books in 2 weeks and then stop reading for a period of time. But I love reading and want to do it more consistently. So 50 books this year for me!
NO NEED to be starving! Grab an apple, banana, kiwi, melon, celery, carrot.... you name it (from the produce aisle) and MUNCH! Add a bit of lean protein and you have a wonderful hunger-killing snack! Apples and fat-free turkey/chicken chunks, banana and peanut butter (or PB2), celery sticks stuffed with Laughing Cow light cheese wedges...... MMMMM!
OK, guys! The posts on page 1 are up-to-date with the participants and the MFP names so far! If there's anyone I missed, please let me know! Also, if you want to share your MFP name or your Instagram name, just post it and I will get it added!
We are off to tackle Walmart and Kroger... in the middle of the day... on a holiday... when everyone else in the country is ALSO starting a new diet.
wish us luck!! We'd intended to get up early this morning and do it, but the 2am bedtime wasn't kind to us. I would put it off until tomorrow morning, but our cupboards are bare other than the candy bowl, which I meant to empty into the trash last night before bed but didn't, and now I don't have the will-power to do it, haha.
Question - what are some of your favorite/go-to healthy SNACKS? I can find healthy meals all day but snacks always elude me. We don't like nuts which seems to cancel out 95% of the snack ideas I've found online, haha.
If I survive our shopping endeavor, I'll be back afterward to catch up on the chatter and check out everyone's January goals!
Go to snacks?? Hmmmmm...... as I mentioned above, produce and protein..... one of my easiest is a WW cheese stick and an apple..... second easiest is a large celery stalk stuffed with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese..... hard boiled egg whites, bananas, smoothie (1 C almond milk, greens, 1/2 frozen banana), homemade applesauce (I leave it chunky and eat it warm because it tastes like crustless pie that way!), brown-bag microwave popcorn.......... that is all I can think.
My name is Sabrina and this my first time joining a W.I.S.H forum. Since returning home from Disney back in September I quit exercising and eating healthier. Enough is enough and today I am getting back on the right track. Before September while I was getting ready for Disney I was using MFP and riding my stationary bike 45 minutes at least 4 times per week.
Today I stepped on the scale and weighed 210 pounds. That was hard to type. From this point on that number is only allowed to get smaller!
Part 1
Goal - Lose 8 pounds. I really want to get back under the 200.
Plan - Use MFP, exercise 3x weekly, increase water intake, make better choices.
Part 2
Goal - goal weight 180, that could change.
Lose weight! Get healthy! Stay committed!
So happy to have you here with us! Welcome!
You can sign me up to do April! I'm gonna man up and volunteer.
WOOHOO! Thank you!!
Hey, friends! We survived Walmart & Kroger with only a few scrapes and bruises, haha. I picked up some popcorn, grapes, apples, and bananas to snack on... I'll make up some almond butter this weekend, hardboil a few eggs for the week, and mix up some tuna, too, for lunches. Since I'm home all day at the moment, I had to tweak my shopping a little - I don't have to think in terms of "will this fit in my lunchbox", "can I eat this at my desk without making a mess or a ton of noise", "I won't be able to heat this up", "I need to keep this refrigerated until I eat it", etc. - which I didn't even think about until we were in the store! I also need to re-learn that it's ok to snack throughout the day - I've fallen back into old bad habits of NOT eating all day and then gorging at dinner time. January definitely won't be an easy month for me and my weight loss, but I'm ready!
This weekend I need to make a point to go through MFP and log all of my food. For today I'm just picking things that are loaded already so I can have something on the books - for example, we had a serving of DFIL's home made lasagna for lunch, but I'm not sure exactly what was in it, so I went through all of the "lasagna" that is already loaded into MFP and picked one that seemed reasonable. Not at all accurate, I know, but better than nothing, and I need to train myself to stop and log my foods again - I've been out of that habit for months now.
Eating a home and being home all day to eat has advantages and disadvantages. Good for you for getting back onto tracking your foods.
Hi everyone! I'm in again for January, after totally failing to keep up here in December.
I'm looking into some diet changes for the new year - namely, trying a little lower carb here and there. Cutting them out completely doesn't work, but I tend to lean on sandwiches, pasta, etc. for cheap and easy food when I know I need more veggies, protein, and other deliciousness in my life!
I'm also starting Couch to 5k for like the third time. I'm on week 4 currently (I think - my schedule got super off over the holidays) and am actually enjoying it. Not totally sure I'll run any races, but it's a good and quick workout that is pretty simple. The rest of the time I do a lot of walking
I'm still tracking on Loseit, which is a great help as well.
In general, I would love to eventually be in the 120 lb range - I'm only 5'2", so that would be a pretty healthy weight for me I believe. I'm currently at 144, so I definitely have a bit to go! I'm interested in doing this for my health (got told my cholesterol was super high recently, so that's an issue in addition to family history of diabetes, etc.) and also so that I look better in pictures

I would love to get my husband involved, but he tends to talk about losing weight and is not as great at followthrough. I love him just the same, though!
On with the goals:
Part 1: Goal for the month
I'm going to start the year off easy - 2 lb is my goal. We've got a Disney trip at the
very end of the month (literally the last weekend) where we're eating at Cape May

Also, I'm not actually sure I'll have a scale at Disney, so I may have to weigh in before/after. I'm hopeful that my new eating efforts and exercise will result in more lost, but I don't want to push too hard and end up giving up. Any progress is good progress!
Part 2: Goal for the Year
- I don't really have one so far - I mostly just want to enjoy a year of staying in the same place and not having a wedding and a move to plan
My husband and I got married in July and moved to a different state (and moved in together for the first time) in August - so I'm still so happy to not be that frantic
I'd love to cook a new recipe a week, but I think that might be a stretch once work starts up again. I'll think on a year-long goal
Last year was SO BUSY for you! I can see why it was hard to stick with the group here! But glad you are back now!
Good morning, beautiful people! Welcome to our first QOTW for 2016! Since weekends are usually so busy for everyone, I'll just post one (fun!) question on Saturdays that will count for both Saturday and Sunday - but by all means, feel free to chat away all weekend long!
QOTW - January 2 & 3, 2016
Cri-Kee was included in the movie Mulan because in China, crickets are considered "good luck".
Do you have a good luck charm (object or person or pet) to help you on your journey?
Nope.... not really. But I know for many of my members the "trinkets" and charms they earn at WW along the way are DEFINITELY their good luck charms! Since I lost most of my WW weight outside of the meetings, I never got the charms..... but as soon as I became a leader and had access to them I "gifted" myself the charms I would have earned along the way! I earned them and I deserved them, right!?? They are a nice reminder of how much progress I have made.
Count me in! I just happened upon this thread and really need the encouragement from my Disboards family! I need to drop about 40 pounds, but will be happy with any weight loss. I need to expertise more, too. I hope joining this group will encourage me and help keep me accountable.
My goal for this week is to excercise at least three times and make a few healthier food choices. I know I have some food challenges this week at work and a family birthday celebration. I'm not sure how often I will be able to post, but I will be following along!
I am jsthomason on my fitness pal.
WELCOME, WELCOME!!
Marking my place. I'll be back later!!! I need to read through, but hate reading the DIS on my computer.
Holding a seat for you RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!
Hi all, I stumbled across this thread last night and it sounds great.
A little about myself I am Australian, solo mum turning 43 on January 20 eeek! I have 3 fantastic kids DS 15, DS11 and DD 11. I work full time graduated university 3 years ago and am an Occupational Therapist. I have struggled with my weight for about the past 10 years. In my younger years was super slim ate what I wanted and never exercised (didn't need to and was not a huge fan of it lol). I lost baby weight with some effort but then my partner left us and self-esteem plummeted, anxiety and self-doubt kicked in, add to that mummy guilt and somewhere along the way I started eating my feelings - especially on the couch after the kids were in bed and I was all alone. I did manage to lose 5kg (sorry we do kg's in Australia) before our trip to
Disneyland in 2014 - that was a huge turning point for me emotionally don't get me wrong I still struggle some days but DL really worked its magic and saved me. Since then I have put on over 10 kg and am in the Obese BMI range. Why is it that when you look in the mirror you don't see how big you really are getting? But I saw photos of myself in early December taken at my twins primary school graduation and just wanted to cry. So here I am to join in with you guys this year and get healthier.
My January Goal - to spend 30 minutes 5 out of 7 days doing something active with my kids e.g. wii dance, basketball, soccer, kayaking etc. Aussie kids are on their summer break at the moment and we have about 3 weeks left. Today we had fun throwing water balloons at each other but that only lasted about 15 minutes.
Plan - tell my kids my goal and then the twins will help by asking me to play - they do it already but I usually have an excuse. DS 15 won't be any help with that we will have to drag him out too - he's a gaming/couch potato if left to his own choice.
Speed Bumps - ME! I have really been struggling with energy levels since being on holidays and needed a nap each day, my iron levels get low at times and I have this week started taking an iron supplement - so hopefully that will help.
2016 Goals:
To lose weight - I have really picked a number as yet as that just seems overwhelming - I guess I would be happy if I could drop 2 dress sizes.
To be kinder to myself - my friends think I am amazing and do tell me but after everything I have been through I really have trouble believing in myself.
Spend time with my amazing kids - they are growing up so fast.
We ALL could use a reminder to be KINDER to ourselves! Great goal.... but don't you wonder why it is so hard?? WELCOME to a new "far away" friend!!
good sunday morning! finally a moment at the keyboard, i'm behind pardon the long post
I'm Molli, been on the WISH boards for almost as long as it's existed! love it here! I inintally lost 25 lbs thought WW on my own and half-marathon training. About 5 years ago I got really sick, and through high cortisol (natural steroids) and 5 surgeries, I gained about 55 lbs. I have lost 30ish over the past couple years, but am stalled at 20 lbs left to go. I keep gaining and losing the same 10 lbs. well, this is the year to break that cycle!! i'm motived to hit my goal for it would mean lowering our health insurance premium by putting me at a normal BMI, getting back into my cute Disney t-shirts that are still too small, and just feeling better not carring around this extra weight. I have muscle damage from Cushing's disease and so I know my body would thank me for dropping the weight. I am on permanent steroid replacement as I had my adrenal glands removed, which makes it difficult but not impossible. sometimes I go MIA and I apologize, but my health knocks me down when I overdo it
Part 1 - January 2016 Goal: Lose 20 lbs
Plan:
- starting tomorrow I'm enrolled in an 8 week New Year New You program through my cousin's fitness blog. I paid money to join, so that will keep my on it, i'm hoping!
- continue HIIT (high intensity interval workouts) as much as humanly possible, I think they are working
- MFP, MFP, MFP.....overcoming my mental hurdle on consistent food journaling
- cut back on white sugar and white flour (I really don't eat much bread now)
Speed Bumps:
- two long weekends vaca, one in Jan and one in Feb; Vegas trip in May
Part 2 - 2016 Goals
- encourage by example and joining in with DH to complete his 120 workouts at the gym through work to get his gym fees reimbursed
- with my daughter and mom, we are committed to one picture every day of 2016 to better learn how to operate our cameras and photo editing software. I think this will be fun to see at the end of the year
- paint and redecorate a spare bedroom into an office for DH
I don't really have a good luck charm, I used to have small "WISH" metal trinket I kept in plain sight in my kitchen...need to find that and dust it off! I also wear a fitbit to motivate me, and my dog motivates me to get those walks and steps in. i'm in central Ohio so it's going to get less appealing as the snow approaches

to all our newcomers and re-joiners!!!
You could certainly line up 100 excuses about why you can't/won't/are unable to lose weight..... but despite the challenges you keep going! Hope that you are always proud of this!
@pjlla I'm in central MA so not far off from NH at all.

I really can't complain about this winter so far. Even now with it cold it's still pretty nice out!
I grew up in Sturbridge, MA. Where are you?
Is it too late for me to join?
NEVER too late! Welcome to the group! Read page one, check out how things work here, and then JUMP RIGHT IN!

Phew..... Kinda caught up!..................P
