I have really enjoyed your TR! Beautiful pictures and it looks like a great vacation! My family and I are going to WDW at the end of August and we can't wait. Seeing all the pictures makes me even more excited!

The Electric Water Pageant has become a huge joke at our house. My kids love it, as well as me. DH just laughs when we talk about watching it...it's not his favorite. Not sure why we like it so much...I don't even think the silly thing has changed one bit in 20 years! The Poly Beach is such a wonderful place to enjoy anything!!

The EWP is that simple thing that really makes you feel like you're at Disney! It really hasn't changed, but it's fun to watch! Especially from the Poly beach like you said!

Day 11

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

Our last day was finally here! Where did the time go?? It seems like just yesterday we were arriving at the Dolphin! And now we’re packing our bags to go home. So sad! But we’ll be back again someday, we promise! We wanted to make the best of today, but we didn’t want to go to any parks, so we decided to get to DTD right when it opened (actually we got there at 9 and none of the shops opened till 9:30). We left step dad at the resort because he wasn’t into shopping! We took some pictures while we waited.

I met Buzz on our way to the first store, and gave him a kiss! Oops, don’t let the BF see that! Haha!

We went into the World of Disney where we shopped around and took pictures of the cool decorations! We had a few people to buy for, so we were on a mission to get them! I don’t remember exactly what was bought, but I do know that we finished our checklist! Next time we go, I’m going to take pictures of everything we buy, so it’s easier to remember!

Last October, we went to DTD and arrived at 8:45am....didn't realize nothing would be open...so we did like y'all and took pictures! Next time I'll know to be there around 9:15ish. At least we got the optimal parking space

Continued July 18th, 2010

We went into Team Mickey to pick up our last few items, and then we headed back out in the blistering heat to look around some more, but not before stopping in the adjacent Tren-D! There we looked around and bought a few things. I love that store! Everything is so cute! And I love the decorations!

After that we went into Pooh’s Corner, and took pictures of the adorableness that Pooh is!!

In 25 Days of Christmas, mom bought a Disney ornament that she buys every time we go to the World. It’s sort of a tradition. We hope to one day have a complete Disney tree! We’re pretty close!

We went in to Once Upon a Toy to look for some things for my brothers, but we had no luck! The decorations there are so cute, though!

We were getting hungry, so we walked to Cookes of Dublin. I had chicken and chips and mom had fish and chips and we got this yummy garlic and dill dipping sauce for our fries! It was DELICIOUS!!

And heaven (but seriously, it was wonderful!)

We kept walking into Pleasure Island,

and mom took a picture of the old Adventures Club.

We walked in and out of the little shops, and when we got to the Cirque du Soleil tent, we looked around, and I bought a wallet that I still use today! It’s great and it looks so cool! I tried on a hat too!

After that, we decided we should head back to the resort to catch up with step dad, and start packing. We hopped back in the car and cruised to Radio Disney for the last time until next time. We were sad to leave, but I was excited to return home and see my (other) family and BF again! Once back at the hotel, we grabbed some snacks from the lounge, and brought it upstairs to fuel our packing! Once everything was packed, and we checked and doubled checked the drawers and under the bed, we took our last goodbye pictures of the resort- I know you’re probably getting sick of seeing them, but we couldn’t get enough!

I've acutally considered doing a Disney Christmas Tree...perhaps I should start collecting WDW ornaments. As much as my family loves Disney, it would be cute to put in one of the kid's rooms.

Thank you! I was DELISH!! WoD is the coolest store!! I just wish I could be in there alone! Sometimes it gets too crowded! The Christmas store is great too! Kinda weird visiting it in July! But we picked up some great pieces!

It really is! I'm not a big fish eater, but the chicken was a great option! They also sell a fried Snickers bar which we did try, but found it very rich! Not to mention HOT!!! It was ooey gooey good, but one was definitely enough for both of us!

The Disney tree idea has been kicking around for a while, but I think we're going to make it a goal! We have plenty ornaments!

We watched the fireworks from MK one more time in the lounge before heading upstairs and crawling in bed.

I don’t remember what time we woke up the next morning, but I do know it was EARLY! I think our flight left at 5am, so we were out the door by 3 and on our way to the airport. Our first flight was smooth and uneventful, but as we were waiting for the second one in the Newark airport, we were told our second flight was cancelled. Wait, what? Really?! What are we going to do?? After much headache and hassle, we decided on renting a car and driving the rest of the way. We got a PT Cruiser and piled everyone and everything in, and we were off to Vermont. I slept a lot on that ride, but we finally made it safely home around 6:00pm.

We’re done already?? It’s sad to be ending this TR, especially not knowing when we’re going again! But I promise, the next time we go, I’ll do an even better TR because I won’t be new at it!! Thank you to everyone who’s been following me; I really appreciate your posts! You all are great! I hope you have great trips coming up, and I will be following along on your TR fun too!
