A Year Late....but Dining Review 9/2010 - mainly pics

Okay my DIS friends....when I prepared for my trip last year I LOVED looking at all of the food pics. I made all of my decisions on reviews and pics....SO I thought I would share mine.

I did mini review them on my facebook, so I will copy what I said about each dish.

We ate at some great places!! We had Deluxe dining for the first 3 nights and then regular dining the rest of the time.

The first 3 nights it was just my dh, ds and my dd. Then the rest of the time my sil and her family came too.

Okay....Review ONE! Narcoosee's!

Bread and Butter - Hot and Fresh!!

The best appetizer BY FAR was the Crab Cakes!! $15

Ceasar Salad $4.00

Chicken Fingers $7.00

The famous Surf N Turf - we ordered two of them. $59.00

Son got Make your own Smores $6.00

Strawberry Shortcake - AMAZING!!! So good! $10.00

BY FAR - my favorite dessert on the trip. Almond Crusted Cheesecake. I literally made myself sick trying to finish it. $10.00

This meal was one of our favorites!!! We were able to see Wishes from the deck. A magical wonderful meal!!

We stayed at the BWV for our first few days, so we stopped by the Boardwalk Bakery for breakfast.

It was hard getting my family to stop before eating so I could take pics. So some pics might have a bite or two out of them. lol


Cheese Danish $3.00

Cinnamon Roll $3.00

Sprite's and Cappuccino $2.19 each and $3.39

My dd fruit tart - I told her this was not a breakfast item. $4.00

Beaches 'n' Cream

okay, SO hard to eat here on the deluxe plan. We felt completely full and sick afterwards.



We all got a soda and of course a Mickey Mouse.

Onion Rings $5.99
So yummy!!

Chili - pretty standard - just ate the top with all of the cheese and onions $6.49

Ceasar Salad - pretty good considering you are at a burger place!!! $5.99

Cheesesteak Sandwich $12.49
Hubby said this was just ok. He didn't really like it.

Hot Dog $7.99
My ds ordered off the adult menu - our credits were going to fall weird, so I needed to use an adult instead of a kid credit. He LOVED his hot dog. Ate the whole thing.

Bacon Cheeseburger $8.99
Loved it!!!

Now for dessert!!! I wish we could have come back later. We were SO stuffed before it even arrived. But, we suffered thru it.

Okay, I am confused on this one. I said it was the Fudge Mudslide, but it looks more like the Milky Way Sundae. $7.99
Whichever one it was - wow!! Heaven in a bowl!

Old Fashioned Sundae - 3 Scoops $7.99

Then ds - with Vanilla Ice Cream with Oreo's on top. $5.49

As you can see it was WAY too much food! But, a favorite for us - so I was glad we got to fit this in.

One of our favorites, Flying Fish. We were so suprised what a wonderful meal we had! We recommended it to friends recently and they didn't care for it.

Sourdough Bread with butter

Crab Cakes again, although I will say Narcoosee's were better $16

I have this listed as a Tuna Roll and that I was shocked how good it was. $16

Shrimp cocktail - my least favorite of the three. $16

So my daughter wanted to try something other than steak - so she got a seafood pasta dish. Great choice!!!$37

DH got the Red Snapper and said it was wonderful. I don't like fish like this, so I did not try it. $36

I got the Signature Char-Crusted Black Angus New York Stip Steak $42
Best steak out of ALL the places we had steak on the trip. Perfectly charrred on the inside and medium rare on the inside.

Now desserts - these were just ok. Nothing really wowed me here.

DH ordered sugar free cheesecake - I wasn't a fan. $8

DD got the trip of sorbets - she said it was awesome!

We will be beack to this place too. We loved it!!!

Next morning we went to Cape May Cafe for breakfast. Standard breakfast buffett here. We like it.
We will be back next time too.

Everything looks wonderful. I too love the Almond Cheesecake at Narccossess! It's the best dessert on WDW property IMO.
