.....and I still miss her so very, very much. :sad1: Life will never be the same. :sad1:

Just wanted you to know that I can sympathize with you, I lost my mom 6 years ago, it doesn't get easier but you learn to go about your day in a different way.

I know what you're feeling. My mother passed away 10 months ago, and I've been thinking of her this weekend, especially. I like to keep in mind that thought that our parents are living on in us, and focus on all the things we enjoy even more, now, because we're enjoying-for-two now.

It has been 8 years since my Mom passed on and I still miss her everyday, so I do know how you feel. A great big  goes out to you.

((hugs)) my Dad passed away 4 1/2 years ago. I still think of him often and miss him!!

.....and I still miss her so very, very much. :sad1: Life will never be the same. :sad1:

 I hear you. When my grandmother lost her mother, I remember riding in the car with her on the way home from the viewing and she said,"You ain't ever lost nothing in your life until you lose your mother." That has always stuck with me and I can still hear her voice, too. My grandmother is still with us and that was 22 years ago.

This time of year is melancholy for me, because it's nearing the anniversary of losing my other grandmother. She died on 7-7-07. She always did love slot machines. :) (Sorry, y'all, but we laugh through our grief around here.)

Life will never be the same. :sad1:

{{{dumboiu}}} I'm so sorry. I lost my mom about a year ago also. I feel the same way. Every once in a while I'll hear something, or see something, and I think ...'wow, I can't wait to tell mom', or 'mom would really like this'....... then I remember.

I'm so sorry. It's the crappiest feeling in the world, to lose your Mom. :(

I lost mine January 28th, 2006.

 's to all of us who are in the "Mom-less" boat.

 to you.

I haven't lost my mom yet but she has been quite ill so the thoughts of her not being around have been filling my mind. I can't imagine.......:sad1:

I know what you mean. I lost my dad in 2006 and miss him every day. Holidays are always hard. My DH was just talking about his dad last night. Even though he doesn't talk about him much, I know the hurt and void is there.

Hugs to you. I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry for you and all those sharing the pain of losing a loving parent . Both of my parents fought the cancer beast during the same time frame :sad2:. Thankfully my dear Mom is a BC survivor, but sadly we lost dear Dad 6 yrs ago, so I truly sympathize with your heartache. :sad1:

Lost my dad two years ago and I feel your loss. Every now/then you get this yucky, yucky feeling just like the day you lost them and I hate it. I have try to talk myself out of it. He's the angel on my shoulder and we miss him SO, SO much! Love Ya Dad

:hug:Why don't you do something that you enjoyed doing with your mom? That way, you'll know she is smiling down on you from on high.

its only been 10 days since my dad passed.

somebody please tell me it will get easier.
